Ah, Hitchhiker's references never get old.

You're not leaving peanut butter on the disc (other than maybe a few traces). After wiping the disc clean with a cloth, only the oils will remain. These are what smooths out the surface of the disc. If actual peanut butter was left on the disc, it would be even worse (aside from gumming up your dvd player) because the

On the e-ink kindle, the ads can show when the device is off/on standby (due to it using e-ink). On the kindle fire hd, they only show on the lockscreen, which most users don't spend a lot of time on. Also, the screen turns off if the lockscreen is left on without any user interaction for more than 10-15 seconds

Actually, it depends on how the player is set up and what its made with. For example, flash supports keyboard shortcuts, html5 supports keyboard shortcuts ,etc... (For proof, try hitting space, forward, or backward on a Youtube video.

I preffered to see it as Pacman spitting bullets into a gun

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense. It's what I get for posting when I'm really tired.

Unfortunately, that (probably) doesn't get you the information your looking for. It converts dollars to Kronor and Gallons to Liters, but it may not be even close to the price of gas in Sweden. Gas in Sweden may be more or less expensive than that because they may have an easier or harder job of obtaining gasoline

I don't do much with DIY electronics, but couldn't you just soak only the tips of the staples in acetone, leaving the glue on the middle (bridge?) part. I'm pretty sure this would allow you to overlap them, since the glue if probably an insulator.

Well, then there is someone in Texas with the same age and name as you. It's actually surprising the amount of info you can get on someone from there username

Well, after a quick google search for your username: (assuming you use the same name on other sites)

I believe the threat with this one is that someone on a rogue wifi network could not only steal your online credentials, they could also instruct your phone to send back all future location requests. And, unless you routinely wipe your phone, it will continue to do so, even after disconnecting from the wifi network.

Actually, from the looks of it, he is testing against a speedtest server (hosted by some company) that is close to him, but not necessarily hosted by his university. I can't say for sure that it isn't, but at my school I've gotten easily 250+ Mb/s testing against speedtest's server in D.C (I go to school in P.A.)

That does get easier with Google Voice. Not arguing for or against voice mail, just saying that I haven't actually called my voicemail in over a year.

Does the gmail widget on netVibes really only let you see your unread mail? That kind of ruins it for me. I like being able to see and preview all of my mail from within the widget. I liked how you could even do simple compose/reply on the igoogle widget.
