I don't do much with DIY electronics, but couldn't you just soak only the tips of the staples in acetone, leaving the glue on the middle (bridge?) part. I'm pretty sure this would allow you to overlap them, since the glue if probably an insulator.

I believe the threat with this one is that someone on a rogue wifi network could not only steal your online credentials, they could also instruct your phone to send back all future location requests. And, unless you routinely wipe your phone, it will continue to do so, even after disconnecting from the wifi network.

Actually, from the looks of it, he is testing against a speedtest server (hosted by some company) that is close to him, but not necessarily hosted by his university. I can't say for sure that it isn't, but at my school I've gotten easily 250+ Mb/s testing against speedtest's server in D.C (I go to school in P.A.)

Does the gmail widget on netVibes really only let you see your unread mail? That kind of ruins it for me. I like being able to see and preview all of my mail from within the widget. I liked how you could even do simple compose/reply on the igoogle widget.

It looks nice, but it doesn't seem to allow me all the options that igoogle does. For instance, the gmail widget, there doesn't seem to be a way to show all mail (as opposed to just unread mail). Also, in terms of layouts, I can't put the big box on the right (it seems stupid but they only let you have a wide box on…

I would assume that there aren't enough of them to be truly harmful. Plus, most of the parts that you would be touching would no longer be "UV activated" (since the human body is neither transparent or UV producing).

Or, just as easily copy the file there with root explorer (since you're going into /system to edit build.prop anyway).
