Actually, from the looks of it, he is testing against a speedtest server (hosted by some company) that is close to him, but not necessarily hosted by his university. I can't say for sure that it isn't, but at my school I've gotten easily 250+ Mb/s testing against speedtest's server in D.C (I go to school in P.A.)

That does get easier with Google Voice. Not arguing for or against voice mail, just saying that I haven't actually called my voicemail in over a year.

Does the gmail widget on netVibes really only let you see your unread mail? That kind of ruins it for me. I like being able to see and preview all of my mail from within the widget. I liked how you could even do simple compose/reply on the igoogle widget.

It looks nice, but it doesn't seem to allow me all the options that igoogle does. For instance, the gmail widget, there doesn't seem to be a way to show all mail (as opposed to just unread mail). Also, in terms of layouts, I can't put the big box on the right (it seems stupid but they only let you have a wide box on

Did you just post a quote from the oatmeal?

I would assume that there aren't enough of them to be truly harmful. Plus, most of the parts that you would be touching would no longer be "UV activated" (since the human body is neither transparent or UV producing).

Or, just as easily copy the file there with root explorer (since you're going into /system to edit build.prop anyway).

Unfortunately, when iGoogle goes away, I'll probably visit lifehacker and gizmodo a lot less. I like my iGoogle page because it has my email and the most recent articles from several of my several sites. I know I can set up an rss feed or go straight to gmail, but its not set up the same way or layed out like I

Swype's newest beta can be installed regardless of whether your phone came with it preinstalled.(without rooting)

Swype now has contextual predictions, whether they're as good as swiftkey is another issue.

Not sure, but I assume the hot water and hair conditioner does the same thing to the shirt that it does to hair. Softens it and allows it to stretch a little more. This probably allows it to be easily stretched back out, so that when it dries it is more likely to stay that size.

Don't cake mixes usually require eggs? I can understand substituting butter for oil, but I'm not sure how it turned out anything like cake without eggs. My brother once made a cake using one of those mixes when we didn't have enough eggs and it tasted horrible.

I apologize, after rereading my comment, it comes off as harsher than I intended. I just wanted to point out that the point of the 70 degree angles was not for readability.

I'm not positive, but probably any time that a computer is unused for a bit (I know, not very often in an Apple store) they go back and do a quick adjustment. They probably don't use the level app throughout the day, but maybe they eyeball it.

They don't want it to be readable, if you had read the article you would know that. They want them to be unreadable so you have to adjust it before you try it. This encourages you to examine the product up close to get a better idea of why you should buy it.

middle clicking the back or forward button works as well. This is useful when you want to look at something on the previous page, but don't want to lose the current page.

As long as it only borders on a adorable and doesn't cross that line

I first read this as dessert, then went back and realized there was only one s. I think a dessert stadium would be more awesome than a desert stadium personally
