I was just saying that its possible to renew your contract without getting a phone upgrade, in which case you can then keep your unlimited (and then buy a phone unsibsidized if you want/need to).
Renewing won't take away your unlimited data. The only problem is that when you go to upgrade your phone, you'll have to give up your unlimited plan or buy an unsubsidized phone at retail price.

Actually, Failure to Cary a License can only result in a fine by itself. If you have a license and its not on you, they can give you another ticket, but they can't arrest you without another reason (I'm sure they could come up with something, but it wouldn't be for forgetting your license).
