This is pretty similar to my hiccup go-to cure. Take a deep breath and hold your nose. Then swallow 3 times (possibly 4), the trick is that the last swallow should be really difficult.

Looks like you beat me to the punch. That bathing suit is absolutely the cutest out of all of them and I'd buy it in an instant.

Same, I've been using X1 (ex one pronounced) and all my game friends have been getting what I'm saying.

I'm curious to know how this works with multiple X1s in the same house.

As a 5'7" 105lbs gal I could share what doctors are like as a skinny person...if I wasn't too busy having panic attacks in doctors offices. I'm deathly afraid of needles (see the panic attack comment) and if I'm in some sort of situation where I _have_ to get some form of shot I get pretty nutty and then pass out

I'm not so much a fan of the Final Fantasy games, the Tales series is more my jam. While there's a lot I could say about the series in general, and many things I can say about specific games, I mainly want to point out a few things about Tales of Vesperia.

Now playing

As soon as I heard high heels mentioned...

"They can't even see that this discussion — that BioShock Infinite — should be about so much more than a clipped little finger."

:Spoilers for Bioshock Infinite and 999/VLR:

So, I'm guessing you've never been to a GDC ever? Who could afford it with the _ exorbitant_ price tags?

Lets break down my costs for the past 3 years of attending:
Year 1 - Free Expo pass, free hotel, free flight, $120 worth of food, $16 for BART
Year 2 - $200 Expo pass, $250 (total) hotel, $250 (round trip) flight,

I really like the idea of the romper, and I would totally buy one if I could ever find a cute one :( The online ones I see in stores are either hideous or strapless (which I can't exactly hold up)

I visited a friend in DC once and he took me to Wegman's. Arizona has Fry's...but it's no Wegman's :(

I think it sounds like they're trying to do what Steam does? Maybe? Anyhow, if they use Steam's exact system of Facebook friends can add you though Steam and you can see their real names, but if you add someone through Steam you can only see their Steam name, that works just fine for me.

My boyfriend bought himself an iPad for using the music stuff, but he doesn't really do that much. It primarily sits on the couch and we use it to look up video game walkthrough stuff while we're playing or the nifty tablet-PS3 link for Youtube on the PS3.

Have you read the Nausicaa manga? That could explain it.

It could be an age thing. I'm in my early 20's and I grew up with Kiki's Delivery Service on VHS. I watched that poor tape so much it's nearly worn out (but I still have it!) and that's why it's so memorable and one of my favorite Ghibli movies.

If you want an easy way to get into some non-Ghibli anime, I'd suggest watching Makoto Shinkai's movies. He's sorta known as a second Miyazaki over there. Anyway, I've seen 5cm per second (my favorite film ever) and Voices of a Distant Star which are both beautiful and heartbreaking. I have yet to see his 3rd movie

For anyone who hasn't heard yet, Disney is releasing Howl's and Totoro on Blu-ray in May and you can start preordering them through Amazon now. Good news for me since Howl's is my absolute favorite.

Ponyo reminded me of watching Kiki's and Totoro as a kid, though it was technically more kid friendly since there was really no life threatening conflict. It was mostly beautiful and fun and everyone in the village took all the events in stride. I liked it, but not for the same reason I liked my favorite Ghibli films.
