I would not call Congress "God."

I'm saying it's unlikely automotive racing will die out, because we're still racing freaking horses...
There's a lot of money in horse racing! The horses themselves are often six and seven figure beasts.
So I should pull over on to the shoulder when being tailgated in the slow lane by some moron who won't go around me, or is tailgating despite being in heavy traffic?
Or not driving in Massachusetts.
Would be good if you got to choose from a variety of fake engine noises, they don't have to be all from cars, you could choose Boeing 727 or a classic train locomotive.
I think it's a stretch to argue that any substantial portion of the population that purchases a vehicle that goes 0-60 in 5 seconds is uninterested in its performance characteristics. Then again, I'm not attached to any elitist positions about "real" cars, so my opinion is naturally suspect.
There's some legislation out there to improve their safety by doubling the number of wheels and surround it all with a steel shell. Also, airbags and a/c.
Those things just fall over!
Wait, you don't put big cross-drilled carbon ceramic brakes wrapped with wide Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires on your trailer?

Number of people who want a car > Number of people who can afford to buy a car
Except for the stealth Blackhawk that crashed in Pakistan during the Bin Laden raid.
I don't think feeling sad or bad merits suing your victims and their families for $1.35 million.
Sorry, I live in a neighbourhood where cyclists are rife and horrible and don't obey the rules of the road AT ALL. I have still never hit one because I'm travelling at a decent speed and I am always watching and being careful.
There is a vast difference between what you described (which is all valid) and having the audacity to sue the grieving family.
This is a very well-written piece of fiction and definitely tries to get into the mind of the other person to make them "not a villain." However, I don't think suing god and everyone is going to help the case any.
