That's why I didn't buy used. They're priced ridiculously.
I like it. But I can see you wouldn't be rich for very long.
It's always going to be arbitrary. What if it's sleeting instead of snowing? Or a light dusting? Do temperatures factor in? I'd much rather something that is cheap, simple, and unambiguous.
Hahaha. It was even worse before. Somehow I formatted the entire post to be like a headline.
I think you're only in violation if it's over five minutes.
# 5 and #1, wait wut? You can't have it both ways. Most of these laws actually seem pretty reasonable to me. Sure, they can be incorrectly applied (using the conditions when they're fine, or ticketing someone while they're just clearing the end of the driveway), but that's the case for almost every law.
Unfortunately kinja makes it easy to miss people's previous posts. But either way..
... Every time you need to open the back? Like, if you have kids?
I've seen enough clips of events recorded from one angle that lets you see a tenth of what is actually happening, no thanks.
Okay.. If those big evil corporations aren't making money from it, who's going to record it in 1080p from fifty different angles? How are these athletes going to be able to do something as ridiculous as snowboarding for a living?
I'm so tired of this "if you kill someone behind the wheel, but weren't drinking or grossly speeding, it isn't a big deal" attitude that our legal system has in these cases.
"hard to believe?" you quoted the rules right there!
When it isn't available in your region, I wouldn't feel guilty about getting around it, but otherwise, I do think it makes sense. There's nothing artificial about region, just because you can get around it.
I cannot fucking wait for autonomous cars. I think the benefits will far far outweigh the downsides. If you want to drive yourself, you'll have to go to a track day, or go to a "driving road" which presumably will be more popular than they are now.
What Canadian beers do you recommend? Unibroue is fantastic (possibly my favorite brewer, full stop), but the big Canadian labels are not any better than the "American" behemoths. (Btw, the largest American brewery is Sam Adams, not bad!)
Because when NBC (or the BBC, or whoever) airs something, they've purchased the exclusive right to broadcast that content in that region. It sucks, but I think it makes sense. Of course, due to the Internet and our increasingly global world, the system is a bit archaic.
Also, for other sports, NBC repeatedly spoiled the results of events they were yet to air. Whether it be by having a ticker during the event itself, a comment by someone immediately before an event, or the time one of the color commentator mentioned a fall seconds before it actually happened, they did it numerous…
Is there anything more American than that?
I've always thought that minivans have SUVs whuped in terms of utility. And now with most SUVs already having a mom-car image, I can't see a reason to not get one instead of an SUV. That is, if I needed a vehicle with more than two usable seats (shudder).
