This guy is a jerk, but nowhere near as big of a jerk as the state is. The punishment is not even remotely commensurate with the crime.

Don't mess with Texas.

Yes. The fastest lap of the race is set during the last few laps of the race, typically by Vettel. He loves to set the fastest lap when he already has a massive lead, which really irritates his bosses who just want him to bring it home safe.

If you give me the 458 I'll make the video!

I'd rather be on a track with no clue than sitting here with one!

I agree, which is where my comment stemmed from. I've always thought that concept cars were visions for five/ten years down the road, not a feature that you'll be incorporating before the next show. Do you see concept cars differently? (genuinely curious)

Ford was demonstrating a concept car. Not a preview of next year. If this blurb was about the 2015 Edge, I wouldn't be so contentious, and would in fact think it is pretty nifty.

Understandable! Almost every other parking assist system before has been for parallel parking.

Wow! How innovative! It's not like autonomous cars have already safely driven thousands of miles on public roads! Dream bigger, Ford.

Ever parked in a city garage? I've had plenty of times where it is extreeeemly tight opening your door. This allows you to open your door completely, and would be very helpful for people with disabilities or car seated children.

What do you think the standard performance metric will be in ten years? 0-60 is starting to sound outdated to me, with relatively accessible cars such as the WRX putting out times like 5.4 seconds. We must be approaching somewhat of an asymptote, so 0-60 times will be less and less of a metric that actually

If this were the seat reclining question, people would be saying things like "SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A FIRST CLASS TICKET THEN!!"

I don't understand all the people getting so defensive about being able to recline their seats. No one is questioning your "right" to fully recline your seat, we're just saying that if you do so it makes you rude, which is exactly what the question asked.

Fully reclining your seat.

All of our other sports have convenient spots for commercials built in! F1 should really take the cue and just throw a red flag for ads every five minutes.

I won't have trouble finding those sources, I've included one below. In particular the pie chart on page two and the line chart on page 3 illustrate my point: that people are typically either sober (0.00) or well over the limit (0.1 plus). I've found a few other sources as well, and they all indicate the same general

Dude, they probably are summer tires. Not all season, they're summers. Which means they are fantastic in the rain, but literally useless in the snow. You said you've never used snow tires on any other car, but did you have summer tires on those?

If that is true, what good does lowering the limit do? If these people are already driving above the limit, the limit clearly doesn't matter to them.

At work right now so I won't do so right away, but I'll follow up later with actual sources: the vast vast vast majority of DUI's and alcohol attributed accidents happen WELL above 0.08%. So decreasing the limit wouldn't do anything to enhance safety, as those who are operating impaired are doing so well above the

I don't know if it was Perez's lackluster year, Jensen is going to finish the year with less than half of the points he had last year... something else is going on.
