I very much like must read. Usually the articles selected are quote good, and it's a good mechanism for covering non jalopnik subjects on this site. Usually I resent non jalopnikish posts, but this works very well. Thanks!

That's stupid. The whole point of the yellow light is to inform you that you should stop if you can safely do so. Why add a yellow light for a yellow light?

Yeah, that's horrifying. Especially the people who went by close and at speed! Someone's going to be crawling out of that car, and they might be right behind it.

Professionals should wreck, amateurs in a road car on an open track day should not.

Yeah I mean I'm sure none of these thoughts came to their minds over the past five years, or the past fifty years of space flight.

I don't get the whole tesla = millionaire thing. Do you think the same thing about someone driving say, a loaded X5?

Every time I see someone with a Continental I want to say to them "wow! Is that the new Chrysler?!"

I've never found red bull to be very fizzy.

Or it could be an imperial gallon/us gallon thing... but I'm too lazy to do the math.

There's always at least one.

Yeah, I mean, for many people having to do that once or twice a year would be a real deal breaker.

Edited: I didn't read your whole post.

But this isn't even about the tsa. It's about some asshole who's probably going to lose his job.

It does look pretty cozy! Next year you should up-size, bring a focus, and undercut the competition by offering the shotgun bed for only $13,000.

Hell, you could buy a pigeon for that much!

Or take the free neighborhood parking. I never have trouble finding a spot. And half a million covers a lot of body work.

I claim to not be concerned with the goings on of a class I will never belong to.. but that was pretty damn cool. Thanks for sharing!

Later I was asked where I was staying. And man did I want to tell the truth. I said something to the effect of "a beautiful place down the beach. Fiesta something or other…some American deal with a bright red exterior. Oh you don't know it? Yeah I think it's new…"

With everything comfortable for me in my car, I can't see the top of the tach. But I can infer and feel what speed the engine is at, and I usually don't let it get that high anyways.

Patrick, isn't recommending a post that is just lauding your own writing a little self serving? :-P
