She got 7 tickets just for the city sticker, that’s $1,400 in fines.

Each person has their own story of how they got stuck where they are, and not being able to afford a road-worthy car is probably a symptom not a problem. Maybe for her it wasn’t an option to not have a car. Maybe she had to drive to get to work, and it was either work and eat and rack up fines, or don’t work and don’t

The car chase in this movie was great, one of the many highlights of the film i thought. The hills added something for me to the chase. And thankfully, no over the top closeups of the badge or Lexus logo (talking to you Michael Bay, you pillock)

I had a boss once (Fortune 50 company) who came back from Brazil raving about the friendly, warm bathroom attendants she encountered, and how lovely the restaurant bathrooms were. When I pointed out it seemed like a terrible job (standing around, smelling piss all day and handing out towels to the wealthy) she said,

Trying to reconcile these two statements, made back to back in the video.

It was well documented that the Heer (German Army) despised the SS and much of the Nazi Party. Hell most of the assassination attempts on Hitler came from members of the Army and old aristocracy and towards the end of the war there’s a notable case of a German Army unit fighting with Allied POWs and forward elements

Hey Tom,

And now here's a view from western Europe:
Waiter - only if it's good and service was excellent, usually something like 2-5%

Rest. Takeout - never
Bartender - only when service has been perfect all night, but pretty much never.
