Played the game as a young adult and still cried a little inside when they got ordered to leave him behind. Still awaiting a sequel to the exploits of the team. Looking at the now defunct lore they seem to have mutinied the Empire and gone rogue. That would have been an interesting game.

Regular Car Reviews does a great piece on these things and why they bombed so hard, taking into account that the C2 was and still is one of the most beautiful and wonderfully performing cars to ever come from the colonies.

I agree with what you say. I actually loved Parasyte, but it was such a letdown towards the end that it felt like it made the whole season limp. Would have liked more of an expose of the facts how they were towards the end. It was a dry ending and in my opinion it brought no closure to the whole story.
