Reminds me of a more advanced Galactica, at least until the bridge. I’ve seen a similar bridge design somewhere before, but I can’t remember where.

Gas Town and the Bullet Farm are part of Joe’s domain.

Yes, the story is by Miller. The script is co-written by one of the movie’s writers. This is as official as you’ll get.

I’m concerned that they’re emphasising the snake. Are they going to have a snake loose in the hangar? In the bedrooms? That strikes me as a bad idea.

I can pick up pencils with my toes, I should try this sometime. But I’ve never taken a selfie in my life, and it’s a habit I don’t want to break.

I have a tape measure within arm’s reach, so I looked it up. An inch is 1.6 cm, and a foot is 12 inches or 30.5 cm. Also, a useful conversion and calculation site .

All the new stuff is canon. However, they’re already running into continuity hiccups by having a whole bunch of stories happen ‘right after ANH!’ They need to sit down and tell us which order all the new stories happen in.

Yeah, in the Clone Wars he came back with spider legs, then these ones, then proper ones. His episodes are actually pretty good, worth watching.

Cool as it is, it also looks unstable. I’d be worried about falling over all the time.

No love for Where Eagles Dare? :(

I take it you’ve never watched the Hidden Fortress.

You mean like an escalator kind of thing that only goes horizontally? Yeah, I was expecting that too. Those things are really good when you’re in a hurry.

What about the freeway scene? That's my favourite.

That's supposed to be Rogue's version of Captain James Cook, navigator and explorer, most famous for being the first white guy to stumble upon Hawaii and the Eastern (ie the habitable) side of Australia. James Cook had a Scottish father, but his mother was English, he was born in England and raised in England.

It's actually a legit Scandinavian name.

Aesir, not Asgardian! That only comes from Thor comics. And the female form is Asynjur.

It was a great premise. Norse mythology goes cyberpunk. The game itself, not so much.

That great big rounded one, the Amarr Avatar, is how I imagine lighthuggers from Alistair Reynolds Revelation Space books.

I got frequent murder too! But for theft I got If it's not nailed down, it's yours. Yes, that's more the way I play Skyrim. :)

Have they changed the models at all? The robot form of Scavenger looks different to how I remember him. Yes, that's the only one I had. No, I don't know why. Anyway, is it just a matter of brighter colours and more detail, or did it get fundamentally changed?
