Did you read the last sentence of the article? That generally encapsulates the review, and for a good games it’s supposed to be positive. For this game it’s quite negative.

This article wrote multiple paragraphs on what the author wanted/hoped for. I haven’t seen a single thing anywhere like that for Pokemon, despite there being clear avenues (for example, bemoaning that double and triple-team battles are only ever minor sideshows with no meat).

Still waiting for that review about what Pokémon should be doing instead of what it is doing.

I find it odd that certain series like Pokemon are never negatively reviewed for being 90% the same game. But then others, like Ratchet & Clank here, are. Despite the fact that the former is showing real signs of its age, and the latter feels far more modern. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Probably the only time I’ve ever screamed during an E3 presentation

More likely it’s the Series S|X using the same save format as the Xbox One. If it’s an amazing format, this is good! If it’s not, then this is ultimately bad (ie, slower saving/loading). Sony went all-in on hard drive speed this generation, so there’s a good chance they optimized their save files as a result, and that’

The current news is “no one knows.” More accurately, “don’t hold your breath.” Have you noticed how virtually every new Square game is a Sony exclusive? Coincidence, or the sign of something larger?...

More accurately: Spoken like someone who transferred their PS4 games to external storage.

While it’s certainly not ideal, I’d hardly call “you have to manually transfer the save, but otherwise it works without issue” a “mess.”

There is a big reason the fine is “up to” and not static: It’s meant to be relative to income. The idea is to penalize the offender, not bankrupt them for life.

I had previously done that and realized it’s still all just luck!

Maybe gaslighting was the wrong term, I don’t know. But you were still referring to Sony in the past tense doing what Microsoft is in the present. You should call a spade a spade, not just when it’s convenient!

I was excited to see what kind of worlds they could craft when not limited by HDD load times. So the announcement of a PS4 version is actually a little disheartening.

That’s some pretty strong gaslighting. 1.5 years from announcement to release is industry standard. Meanwhile, you’re conveniently forgetting that every Microsoft game that isn’t Halo Infinite (a game which itself was announced three years ago and then delayed three months before release) has a teaser trailer at best.

Each Valkyrie had a distinct move set. Some were easier than others. The Queen Valkyrie could use the moves of every other Valkyrie combined (but didn’t summon an army, thankfully). The trickiest one is the blinding light move. You need to shoot at arrow at her to stop it. You can’t block, dodge, or out-distance this

Sad, but not surprising. I just replayed God of War so this will give me a larger cooldown period, I suppose..

The inverted right stick messes with my muscle memory way too much. I’m always hitting X when I mean to hit Y!

I said from the very beginning that it was a mistake to call the device Wii U, when Nintendo had more “Wii X” accessories than you could shake a fist at. Somebody at marketing failed miserably.

I’m pretty sure if you could add up all the “violation damages” across every product in a single year, it would be more money than exists in the world. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
