You can perfectly recreate an isometric camera in 3D, using an orthogonal projection.

I would argue that since an isometric camera can be reproduced in 3D, any 3D game that does so would count (see: Final Fantasy Tactics)

When your local government enforces the use of dealerships, supply and demand goes right out the window.

In this case patents wouldn’t apply. What’s being sold is a device that uses an FPGA, so even if some of the console components were patented, they aren’t being used in these products.

Not sure that Sony would have any say in the matter. It is 100% legal to reverse engineer a product. It is also 100% legal to release “compatibility” devices, even when DMCA would otherwise forbid it. In this case, Analogue absolutely gets the excuse of “this makes your old games compatible with your otherwise

It is really strange to think that it may be Analogue, not Sony, who finally gives us a proper BC PlayStation!

So, first I fail to get a pre-order for the Analogue Pocket. And now they’re adding TurboGrafx support to the device. Talk about adding insult to injury!

The PS2 had built-in game upscaling, as did the PS3... So both of those launches meant your entire BC library became “enhanced.”

The way you see this game is largely the way I see all these games, Diablo 2/3 included. If you don’t enjoy those aspects, I’m confused why you played any of them to begin with?

Nintendo trademarked the word Pokémon, her name is Pokeprincxss. I can see a case against her selling T-Shirts with Pokémon and Pokéballs, but the name is so immensely far from the word Pokémon that I highly doubt Nintendo would have any kind of trademark case against it.

“It can only run 99.7% of games! There must be something wrong!” is one of the worst takes I’ve seen in a long time.

I seem to always want to create a 50-ish guy with long black-silver hair and a well-groomed beard. I have no idea who that man is, but it’s not me.

It seems to be largely positive. Turns out western reviewers are really, really bad at speaking for Japanese gamers.

They are allowed to run a white-listed selection of Xbox One games. Which is around 300 titles atm. That’s a far cry from what would amount to 2,934 PS4 games if these 10 are the only unplayable ones.

Neither of the things you said are true.

Now you know how I feel about Fallout!

Not sure, but even if that’s the only case... PS4 still supports suspend for online games.
