I think you meant tee’d up, but yeah.

To be fair, it might be a bit of both. Specifically, some people think that the board sits in the middle and is cooled from both the top and bottom (left and right when looking at it vertical). Hence the two output vents on either side of the console.

Xbox Series X: 6.9k Cubic Meters

“Pretty damn fantasy” does not mean 100% Tolkien-Based mythology. Doesn’t even Dragon Quest have mechs?

I actually like it. Because aside from Bravely Default, Final Fantasy hasn’t focused on Crystals since, like... Five? It was sortof big in IX, but also not really.

Ah, it’s possible you’re right about those things. I’m primarily a game mechanics designer, so I do tend to notice and focus on those things the most while playing games. (Others have asked if constantly subconsciously evaluating games like this detracts from my enjoyment, but it doesn’t. In fact, just the opposite...

That might be right.. But if accurate it would also mean that Ghosts sold 99% of its total copies in the first three days... Which is unlikely. VGChartz displays 2.4m “shipped” copies. In the past, they only tracked hard sales, but that could have changed. Assuming it’s hard sales, then we can still add at least 1.9m

Uh, a large part of my argument is that Appleville is the problem and shouldn’t exist in the first place. Where is Microsoft’s cut for “supporting” Windows apps? The idea is that it’s mutually beneficial: The developer gets a customer to sell their app to, and Apple gets a selling point for their phone. Win-Win.

My guess is that they’re paying money for this exclusivity. Square and Sony are both Japanese companies, so there could be some innate affinity there. But Final Fantasy is one of the more western-popular brands, so that doesn’t necessarily fit.

Oh, I don’t try to hide my hand, I do tend to defend Sony! However, I also don’t hate Microsoft. I own a Surface Pro and love it! But from a games perspective, they’re definitely a distant third to Sony and Nintendo.

You can be sad. Sad is okay! Just don’t get angry at a company for doing something you’d be perfectly happy with their competitors doing.

Notably absent titles from that list include Ratchet & Clank and God of War: Ragnarok.

Ah, yes, it’s perfectly fine for Microsoft to buy up entire AA studios. Not a peep. But one single game becomes exclusive for PS5 and it makes you “pissed.” Your hypocrisy is showing.

I’m 80% sure Resident Evil saw a return to satisfy the complaints about bad framerate in the previous trailer.

Kena wowed me.

Some have speculated that the PS5 is more expensive to produce (I’m not personally sure, tho). That would make the PS5 technically a better “value” (if true) because its parts are more expensive. If 20% of ever-diminishing graphical returns is instead how you count “value,” then the Series X likely has the PS5 beat.

That Demons Souls thing was likely a fubar. They removed the trailer. Sony definitely still owns the IP.

In that case, looks like everyone’s buying a Switch!

The announcement of a new God of War in 2021 is way more exciting than gameplay of a game we already know about (though, admittedly, don’t know a release date for)
