I wonder how many conservatives can’t see their own hypocrisy as they support something like this while at the same time demanding “religious freedom” laws that allow people to comply with a “sincerely held religious belief?”

This is a prime example of Trump’s strategy. In order to “make America great again” (or, as he’s trying to persuade minorities, make America great for them for the first time), he needs everyone to think their lives and this country are blazing dumpster fires.

If Donald Trump wants to make the city streets safer, he and Dr. Carson should stay off of them.

Pretty sure this “appeal to black voters” is nothing of the kind. The whole message is packaged for racist whites who don’t want to think of themselves as racist.

Still better than Cruz and his mummsy.

kfc is some chump ass shit where is the damn popeye’s

So, now that Gawker is gone is this where I go to tell people that they’re wrong?

“Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny.”

I work in the Visual Department at Macy's and we had an emergency email this morning to remove all the Lochte branded Polo collateral for the Olympics capsule they did. He looks so smug in the photos it was kind of a relief.

You’re not sorry and you didn’t learn shit.

Rehabilitation (both for crime and addiction), education, healthcare...these are the most basic human needs that should never be privatized. The benefits they provide to society far outweigh the costs.

Prisons, health care and education

Well except for the white sports playing bros who like to have sex with unconscious women. Those dudes can’t have their lives ruined by prison.

As always, it took a journalist going undercover for the government to get embarrassed enough to actually address what had been going on all the time.

Some public goods should not be run for a profit. Prisons are one of those things. Some would argue that healthcare is also one of those things, but I digress.

Why the fuck is health care an INDUSTRY in the first place??? I know, America, capitalism, profits etc. but wtf!!! No way to reconcile care and the best interests of a human being with the bottom line. Ffs.

“It’s no surprise that companies are adapting at different rates to a market where they compete for business on cost and quality rather than by denying coverage to people with preexisting conditions.”

I am hoping that this is one step of many in forcing a conversation to a single payer system.

If only there was model the US could work off of that would allow affordable health care for all that would not be subject to the whims of the marketplace and private corporations bottom lines. But alas, who can conceive of such a thing.....
