There is no way its just "I just have to decide to do it." Blomkamp is not Peter Jackson or James Cameron who can just snap his fingers and get a film made.

Elysium was a financial flop and Chappie looks set to join it. He's rapidly becoming the next Neil Marshall, lots of hype, but not able to fully deliver.

As long as it makes fun of them I have no problems with io9 running these things. Someone has to fight back the nutters since they seem to be growing these days. Thanks internet!

John Carter says "hiiiidy ho!". Seriously what the hell is up with this film? Brad bird passed on star wars for this thing?

Its a sad day when the sentence Chris Pratt with a Raptor pack gets people excited.

It was 1989 for fucks sake. There were three networks on and nobody had the balls or lack thereof to put something like that on the air. Davids character was well liked and having him return is a positive for fans. Go whine somewhere else about real representation to shows that weren't made in the wasteland of 80s

Cant believe Brad Bird passed on star wars for this thing. It has John Carter written all over it....

Meh, the first elm street wasn't all that in the first place. At least the sequels had some fun with the premise. If you really want scary and serious, go watch Texas chainsaw massacre or Halloween. Freddy became famous because of the one liners and camp. Tell me dream warriors was not the shit back in the day. I

The single thread that I keep seeing pop up with Xfiles and millennium is poor writing choices. Whatever people feel about some of the great stand alone or singular episodes, the writers just chose their roadmap poorly. Over and over, season after season they chose poorly.

It should be starting to set in soon to the general public that the future is gonna be a bleak one. Technology can help solve problems but its benefits cannot hold the line against the power of incompetence and poor leadership.

No one in Hollywood ever admits a mistake. The mantra is always "deny everything and blame others".

The reason I think its trash is because I loved it when I was a kid except for the ending. Go back and read it now as an adult. It really doesnt hold up, the prose, the characters, and the action sequences. It also repeats the same themes over and over through all his stories and some are just a rehash of Elric.

I would suggest you be prepared for some pretty freaky imagery at times that may scare the crap out of you depending on what your scare level tolerance is. Not jump scares for the most part, but some really disturbing long tracking shots and slow burn unease. It has some wild tone shifts that you don't find in

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one will know if we were good men, or bad. Why we complained, or why we quibbled. But all that matters is that one stood against a lame internet commentator. I know that mindless internet arguments pleases you Crom, so grant me one request...

GRANT ME

Corum dies by being hit on the head with a rock after surviving an apocalyptic battle. Its obvious he didnt know how to end the series and didn't care. Total trash.

You won the internet today.

Elric and Moorcock's time has long since passed. It used to be avant garde writing but has long been eclipsed by more competent writers such as RR Martin. Elric is an immature series that appeals to 13 year olds before they discover much better works. Moorcock's Prince corum series is a particular example of how

What star trek needs: 100 million, 10 episode season with focus on HBO,AMC,Netflix quality. Bring the look and quality of the films back to the TV format.

Tv is not screwed its a 300 billion a year industry. It makes more money than the film and videogame industry combined.

Glad to see mst3k expanding out and getting buzz but vimeo can suck it. They need to drop that zero and get with the hero.

How about having any original cast return as supporting characters? It would be nice to indirectly tie back to the original. If it ain't broke...
