Except for the dude pawns which if they look like Guts from Berserk (like mine) get hired all the time!

That's what I'm afraid of. I'll have to back up my save and wait for a fix...

So is the problem just with Dark Arisen or also with the game update that the vanilla Dragon's Dogma gets?

That would have been Chromehounds but then SEGA decided to shut the servers down.

Very well said. That's exactly why I love Dragon's Dogma.

Not a AAA title. And certainly not if you wanted to market it! Better hope you can move well over 8 million units with an expected 85% of game owners purchasing no less than 3/4s of the game's DLC priced at around $20 each otherwise you game will be a failure!

Being an executive is the only job in the world where you can make countless bad decisions, cost your company millions in lost profit or missed revenue and still get a raise while everyone else around you gets laid-off to save all of the money you no longer have.

Also most Hollywood studios produced many movies. Many of the biggest publishers produce almost as many of these overly bloated AAA titles as they do their B or C rated games (if they green light any at all).

Many a fond memory playing that game. I think I always liked the 1st one a little better, though.

Not really but I wanted it to sound like an authentic exchange between a 14 year old, FPS playing, dude-bro and some other poor sap on the internet.

I'm still waiting for a sequel or an actual Galaxy Quest TV show. With JJ at the helm of star Trek I figure it would be a suitable alternative for a more lighthearted, science fiction adventure. I'll take a fun romp through space over a dark and cynical, existential nightmare (which BTW takes place in space but we

Stop it ron!

No I understand the distinction. My point is that no game can be perfect because perfection is a reflection of human desire and all humans have different desires. When ever opinion come into play the notion of perfect must be relative.

Well if they are (and there probably are) what are the odds they all have exactly the same opinions and interests? You can't say how many space sim fans there are if you never make any space sims.

Perfection is relative. The perfect game to some might be a shooter. Others might want a turn based strategy. Still more might want an epic space fighter or RTS. Demographics do, in fact, play a role in making the perfect game because what one considers perfect an other might consider lacking in visual style,

Probably triple or quadruple knowing them. I don't even know if there are 8 million gamers but they seem to think that some of the games they make should sell that many units. Almost as if to imply that everyone should like exactly the same shit, like personal preference and demographics are meaningless in the face of

But with all of those sales, does it really matter if the game works or not? Such are the sort of decisions that go through the minds of a CEO. They were able to shift all of the blame to the developers and away from EA. As far as EA is concerned they sold games so they're happy. Yeah the IP may be ruined forever but

10 bucks says that despite the trend of overly bloated development budgets causing games to have unrealistic sales requirements, the failure that was (and still is) Sim City and a (I'm sure) not shortage of other money sinks here and there that the guys at the very top will still get some nice bonuses and raises for

A few unfixed issue? What issues might this be? I can be all vague and unspecific too if I wanted to support an opinion but it helps to be more specific.
