BoP was a lot of fun.
but the best part?
Is Wonder Woman 1984 a genre movie? It is, right? Because that’s not just one of the worst movies of the year, it’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
It’s the best movie about an egg sandwich that I can think of.
I hate that Birds of Prey is so overlooked, despite being superior to WW84, and with surprisingly stronger feminist themes.
Generally, I think folk are trying too hard to not like the movie
I still love that they had to make all the other Amazonian’s have Israeli accents because Gal Gadot can’t manage anything else.
It’s not and it sucks. Wonder Woman deserves better.
Oof, same. I found her performance to be real bad. Each line comes out as if she’s reading it for the first time. I don’t really know comics, so I thought maybe being really wooden and struggling with the language is something Wonder Woman is known for, but I’m beginning to think that’s not the case.
The original Wonder Woman, Joker, Aquaman, and Shazam all are as stand alone. This is hardly unique. Since the flop that was Justice League Warners has actively been making less connected films. Also all those films were way better than this one.
For me, the best thing about it is Gal Gadot.
This is my list though. I don’t care what other people played!
Sounds insufferable! I have a hard enough time navigating this site, I reckon I’ll take your word for it and stay well in my lane.
You think it’s bad here, drop on over to PCGamer.com, where the most obnoxious “G” gamers gather to circle jerk each other with their superiority complexes.
Wait, hang on, did Sony not check with Kotaku commenters first before making this choice? Because I saw some the other day who were insisting it was actually PS4 consumers’ faults for not knowing the game would be busted—Sony could have saved a lot of embarrassment if they’d referred here first.
I think you meant to say “need”. CDPR has 1,111 employees as of press time.
Politics aside, the baseline guide I use is: Would I have been fired for doing this at work? In this case, absolutely. No “cancel culture” (which isn’t a thing) here, just a employee getting fired for being a fuck up. If it weren’t for his socio-economic position this wouldn’t even be a discussion.
And you’re only amplifying the discourse you don’t like, buddy. Complaining about complaints you don’t like is the lowest form of discourse, and if you don’t like it you can afford to follow your own advice and toddle off.
I’m just here to say this Cyberpunk hot take-osphere has me exhausted. All this posturing over the politics of the Polish studio, the total misunderstanding of how open-world games operate from people like Hughes above or Riley MacLeod, I’m just not that interested in what your opinions are.
“Cyberpunk goes out of its way to make its “protagonist” nearly impossible to identify with.”
