I'm stoked you posted this. This was a staple of my childhood road trips when I was little and when I mention it now people look at me like I'm a crazy person.

The Protomen
The failure to launch the Global Frequency tv show.
I cried my face off.
Oh man Strong Point there Peter, I can't believe that one flew over my head when I watched the movie.
It's even more a shame because I really like Chris Tucker and thought he had a hilarious character created here. But utterly utterly useless and I was just waiting for him to get killed, but he didn't. Also blue chick singing was unnecessary.
Anyone remember this stinker?
Oh good glad to see San Francisco made the cut. I am expecting a baby in March and the cost of one of these day care centers located downtown is $2,250 a month. I would tell you that that is more than my rent but then someone would dox me and kill me and wear my skin to live in my rent controlled apartment. So I won't…
I really liked Looper because right from the start they were like: "Look this is a different model of time travel than what you are used to please just go with it." I think that the Everything Has Already Happened model of time travel is stale now. Does anyone remember that awful move Timeline? Boooorrring.
Well, I'll say that I would absolutely read 10 novels about Battle School from different perspectives because Battle School is awesome. But I don't know if Ender's Shadow did anything that Ender's Game didn't already do. Small kid gets bulled then becomes a badass because he's smart and then Alien Genocide except Bean…
Agreed. I don't remember which book it was but it was basically his reincarnated brother and sister wandering around the universe talking politics and something about Japanese people with government controlled OCD. Just Tedious.
Does this model take into account the Parking situation at the destination? I live in San Francisco where it costs at least $30 a day to park downtown, if you can find a spot. This is the main reason people take BART or other public transportation options.
This guy.
Have you noticed that Optimus Prime dies with a wound in the side of his ribs, like the classic crucifixion. Then later he's brought back to live?
I would just add that this half-sentence: "a scene so cathartic I might have it drawn on top of a cake and then have sex with it" is 24k of pure gold.
Yeah and we do the surveillance state's work for it by cataloging our every behavior online, including what our food looks like.
Hopefully nobody drops a micro-black hole into the earth's core anytime soon.
What's different today from 1984 is the culture, but parallels can be made. For example instead of us all worshiping the state celebrity of Big Brother, we have a celebrity culture that worships wealth and beauty.
