Using a Solid State cache is an excellent idea (we use a EMC SAN with FastCache at work) but in practice for consumer grade equipment it's a total waste of time.

Before I moved out of my dads in with my girlfriend I had this kind job set up. A computer with 2 monitors next to a 32" Tv for consoles and I'd sit doing both in the comfort of my swivelling "management" chair. It's a good set up!!!

I totally agree with this point. I'm a PC and Console gamer and I generally lean towards buying games on consoles because a lot of PC games are now console ports with slightly better graphics.

I have only 2 complaints...
