Never heard of this before, but I'm honestly not surprised by it. I guess had I payed more attention to NASCAR when I was younger, I probably would've seen this

We can throw rocks at each other all day, but I haven't lost a race to a Speed 3 yet in my mk IV GTI... I will say though, I do regard the Speed 3 as a really nice alternative
Dude, redline is 6500 ish and sure max hp is 5600 ish, but its only 900 more rpm. I guess the other option would be a V6, and while it may be NA and the hp may gain until it redlines, you still wont get the cool whistle sound of a turbo or the higher gas mileage of a smaller engine. I guess this plays into the age old…
Aaaaaaaah, clever. Being I'm not that much a fan of JJ, I'll buy it.
Thats what I thought too
Pretty sure that crease came as a result of him doing burnouts in the grass and the front end folding back. Even in the picture you can see how the front end has a huge chunk missing.
Good point, I never considered that. With that in consideration, it probably is jailbroken. Good call.
Ahhh, touche. All good points. I think the main issue she ran into is VAGs less than stellar skills of wiring. VW's are notorious for this stuff unfortunately. That EGR thing has also been a spotty issue dating back to the 1.8t that they used to run in the early 2000's. So I guess in a way I'm not surprised by these…
Lol, I guess that's certainly one way of putting it.
Yeah I know there are jailbreak options out there for this to happen automatically, but assuming the device in the video isn't, this is the first instance of an app doing it for you (that I know of).
Diesels don't usually redline as high as gas burning engines, so you may run out of steam before that anyway
What MrEvil said, Bluetooth has a much shorter range (typically up to 40ish feet). Wifi with a signal booster can reach out hundreds of feet.
Not to get on your caase about it because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I've never had a mother in law that had any inkling of an idea of how a car works so I basically wouldn't consider their opinion. Also, I love GMs initiative to jump on the turbo diesel bandwagon, but this is the first time in…
H1 (Hummer)
In addition to not ever reading the owners manual, I'd be willing to bet that 90%+ wouldn't understand why its not good and do it anyway because of that (even if they posted the warning on the spare itself).
Ya know, I never thought of that. I do have a GTI (cough cough and chew up SI's all day :-) ) and thus have a full size tire. Something that I think VW killed off, but not too sure. I'll definitely keep that in mind next time I change a flat on someone elses' car though
Did you guys catch the fact that when she clicked on get directions that it automatically launched google maps? Saweet!
Agreed. Keep Buick around but no Saab? Buick is just a poor persons Cadillac.
Yep, gotta be prime
I think it was just the style of the time. Think of how many older cars like this had rear semi-fender wells or whatever the heck they're called.
