I really surprised you (Gizmodo) haven't linked or included some of the petitions to stop the merger. In my opinion there is a large enough voice here to hopefully get through to someone. Every little bit helps.

Needs more "AWSOM 50" from Cobra. With the required Cop issue aviator glasses and the matchstick in its mouth.
I like where your heads at, but it needs to have seriously angry eyes.
Just realized this reads like a friggin dealer for sale ad for these trucks. I love these things, but damn do I scare myself sometimes.
GMC Motorsports, and eventually was used to promote the Syclone itself. After thinking about it, the Marlboro Syclones are better promotional examples.
I'll also throw the Marlboro Syclones into the ring. Only 10 were made, and the list of people/companies involved is awesome. The legendary Larry Shinoda, handled the design aspects of the project. American Sunroof Corporation contributed making the Syclone's cab a T-roof with a fully removable targa panel, which…
This guy is no hipster, no way. He actually works, and obviously has some form of actual skills, rather than just being an "artist", "photographer" or "writer". His glasses serve a purpose (as seen by the actual lenses in them), and I see no fixed gear bicycle in any picture. I would go so far as to say this guy is…
read that as Primus called...had no idea what you meant but really like where it was going.
It's definitely the nature of the beast to be soul crushing. It doesn't help any that all the walls here are beige, everything is bathed in fluorescent light, and because of the particular part of Chicago my office is located in...there are bars on all the windows, and our roof has a chain link fence with razor wire…
heart-click for you, as I'm pretty sure you're actually my id that some how managed to collect itself and post a comment on Jalopnik.
This is not an accurate representation of Chicago traffic. There is far too much driving being done. Anyone who has ever had to go from 90-94 to 290 between 5am and 7pm knows this first hand. Four lanes down to one in less than 2 miles does not make for sane driving.
Syclone, Typhoon, or Sonoma GT? Any chance you're a member on syty.net? If not I suggest you join, it's a great community of like minded masochists.
great minds think 6 minutes apart.
Agreed. My older brother had the Black one when we were growing up. Thing was blindingly fast for a Sears (rebadged Nikko) 7.2V car. Can't remember if it was the Lobo I or Lobo II. It had the pistol grip controller.
It might not have been the fastest, or the most durable, but the Tyco Hi-Jacker was by far my favorite. It came out at the same time as all their other 9.6V brick battery cars. With the push of a big red button on the remote it went from quick Lambo clone to bad-ass suburban curb and and construction site launch…
Hmmm, I take it back...A violent storm is no match for 1500+ hp of pure fury. Thor, your chariot awaits.
