I didn't sell it, but unfortunately I let a "friend" of mine borrow my original NES and all my games some time after getting an SNES. The ballbag and his family ended up moving a few months later while my family was on summer vacation.
Depp's Wonka holds no candle to Wilder's. Depp was too much of an aloof man-child, where as Wilder truly seemed like a sadist that hated children. The fact that you never find out what happens to the kids from the original made it that much more horrible.
Completely agree on the AYAotD episode. There was something really ominous about a giant silver ball coming up over the escalator to end the episode.
