How has no one said Benny the Cab yet?
@B-Sel; curmudgeon in training: Glad to see I wasn't the only one thinking this...only in my head it was my Cobalt.
@crews200: Thanks, I just had it stuffed.
@FormerlyTheGreatestDriver: When I was looking at replacing the Bu with a compact truck I tested the I4, I5, (extend cab work trucks)and V8 (crew cab with the bells and whistles) variants. I used to have an S10 and loved the utility of it so I figured this was an upgrade...It is not. There was zero difference between…
Kids: Making you hate you're miserable existence since the day you left it in a little longer than normal.
@Random Task: forgot to mention...you'd be surprised just how common the LS swap is in the SyTy communuity.
@Foo2rama: trust me, I know what heart resides in them. I also know that the stock bottom end on the 90* 262 V6 does not enjoy more than 13PSI of boost. Reliability and power far out-weigh the uniqueness of that big turbo six.
@hellcamino59: And that good sir, gets you a heart click. I have the utmost respect for someone who not only has a Beautiful Elky like that, but all the chrome to go with it. Much respect.

The CTS-V for its brake calipers, the Escalade for it's LQ9 and 4L80-E, and the Jeep Cherokee for it's non rag joint steering shaft. Sure there are other to be thankful for, but these three are the standouts that are getting my Frankenstein back on the road.

ugh...have to say...CP
@OA 5599: Annnnnd hearted.
@Tommy861: LS series motor swap, with a 4L80-E backing it...and maybe a rear end swap. Drive train issues disappear like magic. Still cheaper, still more awesome.
@Tedders: In my head I saw you Google her...as your eyes grew wide and your jaw dropped, a lone tear rolled down your check...today you were happy.
@SuzanneD:
@B-Sel; curmudgeon in training: Ha, absolutely, it's the construction site special. White, Champagne and occasionally that goofy forest green. I'm pretty sure every construction company and engineering firm in the greater Chicago-land area has at some time or another had a minimum of 3 on any given job site.
@voltzvibe: As much as I would like to agree, the rabid track day following that the Neon ACR and SRT-4 have have already made them contemporary contenders.
@philaDLJ: Caliber *might* get a pass simply for the insanity of the short lived SRT-4.
