Feline injection associated sarcomas are a very rare thing. We used to think it was the vaccines that cause it, but the more recent evidence is that any injection can cause some cats with a particular genetic makeup to form a sarcoma (cancerous tumor). Super uncommon. Does happen, however.

I’m a vet in Kansas City, I’ve had vaccine pushback a little, but not a lot. This week I had a client tell me she wasn’t getting the rabies vaccine because last time she got it her cat was autistic for 4 months.

So the important question, how quickly can Disney+ get the rights, if they want them?

I suspect Monica is Maria Rambeau's daughter in the 90's, and will be grown up by now to be an Avenger as Photon (after her Mom the pilot).

To be fair, we are only 15 years into our rebuilding year, here in KC.

That’s awesome! I’m taking out a loan here in KC to make that dream a reality. You Sir, will get the first lap dance. —To the tune of, “Kansas City (Kansas City, Here I Come)“ of course.

So, exactly like the Heisei era of Godzilla/Mothra movies (1984-1998). I’m good with that.

So, if they do put Monica on the screen (I hope they do), will they—can they—keep her last name Rambeau? I’m guessing trademarking from the ‘First Blood’ series would state they can’t. This is coming from someone whose real-life last name IS ‘Rambo’ (made ordering a pizza kinda tough in the 80s, btw).

Real Local Vet here. Yeah, no. There is not a ‘number of cancers that ‘occur at or near injection site’. Feline Associated Sarcomas were believed (in the 80-90s) to be a very real risk of vaccinating your cats. It was much much later decided that it isn’t the vaccine. It was possibly the carrier-molecule (adjuvant)

I see no reason for you to ever watch a movie or tv again! Or experience Christmas (“package exchange—so overdone”), Easter (“let me guess, egg hidden in the garden near a rock”), or life (“born, mature, die—seen it before). Luckily, maybe others (i.e. under 16 that haven’t become jaded yet) can enjoy stuff that they

Grapes are a weird one. They aren’t actually toxic, unless that particular dog has a genetic mutation that doesn’t allow the grapes to break down properly. Even then, it’s very rare.

True, but the reason for the electricity “giving him power” was because it was originally supposed to be Frankenstein’s Monster from the studio’s attempted franchise “Frankenstein Conquers the World”. They shoe-horned in Kong instead.

Thanks for the tears jerk! ;-) Wonderful story!

I checked at the link to make sure my own account info wasn't there (it wasn't) . However, I did find that the only thing worse that finding out you were hacked, is that the world knows the choice of passwords you chose: (I edited for anonymity for the poor sap...)

I did not know that was a thing. Thank you!

Big fan of that here in Kansas City (Barbecue, you know...)

A 'white' hot dog? What makes it 'white'? Is it a turkey dog? I know chili dogs/coneys (favorite of mine) but I'm intrigued by the color-coding of said dog...

Same thing here. Except after the red thong was removed from the dog the husband called and asked what we found. After we told him, he told us to not call anybody else, he'd come right down and retrieve the underwear. He came in, took it, and left. We decided to not mention any of this when his wife called. We fix

For what its worth, she didn't have to persuade us. We had to persuade her (hence the quote "it's not a dog, but we love her so"). I love this site, but they misquoted the original article. Luckily, the banana and Dragon are doing fine....
