Enjoying Twister requires no amount of shame unless you’re an actual meteorologist or climate scientist.

Uh oh! Time for folks to get angry at ASOIAF fans for being “ungrateful” that a book from an author—who they’ve given millions of dollars—is delayed yet again.

Look, there’s no doubt GRRM is a fantastic writer (in my opinion, at least). But if he needed the money from this book to eat or have a roof over his head, it

My personal favorite moments:

I thought this guy died on the last season of X-Files.

Maybe she’s getting a padawan braid.

I’ve been waiting for the glorious day when Grayson Allen trips someone who had already committed to a flop.

This doesn’t feel like that moment, but it’s still an enticing preview.

Exactly. It’s the fact he made this about race. If he’d made this about exceptionally poor customer service (which is definitely possible from airport eateries), then it wouldn’t look so ridiculous. Even as a “white boy” myself, that label wouldn’t offend me anywhere near as much as my order being rung up/charged

At least he’s easing his way back into things with some work that won’t cause too much controversy.

I’m starting to think that my wife and I were the only ones who thought that Arrival was mediocre.

It was beautifully shot, but how many times have we seen:

1.) The monolithic military/intelligence bad guys being opposed and thwarted by the high minded scientists.

2.) The rugged, jokey man paired up with the more

I see both men and women doing this. Both annoy the hell out of me.

1. To your first point, I thought that Eugene had already told Rick he could make multiple bullets with raw materials. Even if you’re right, however, (which you very well could be), I don’t get how Rosita could go from expert marksman to stormtrooper aim from point blank range.

2. Good point. I totally missed that.

3.

Glad someone enjoyed it. For me, however, this whole season has been a complete dumpster fire.

- What’s with the “one bullet” thing? I know it makes for a nice dramatic plot device, but having more than one would have been helpful—especially since Rosita’s previously awesome aim went MIA.

- The Carol subplot is stupid.

Love when the reddit admins/executives throw up their hands and claim that they try to be hands off for the sake of some sort of free speech-based integrity.

I use to mod a few mid-sized subreddits a few years ago. I ending up leaving the site almost all together because one very powerful mod (i.e. modded tons of large

Good lord. First we all (rightfully) get mad at Scott Gimple for last year’s terrible cliffhnager. Then he delivers and everyone still whines.

Danielle sounds like the type of person who would covet running a Home Owner’s Association.

When I first saw the headline, I thought I’d somehow missed the release date and panicked.

Glad my binge schedule can remain intact. Can’t wait for this one.

I’ll probably stay in the greys for this, but I don’t get the outpouring of support for him never finishing this novel.

If he needed the money from the book sales to eat and/or make rent, it would have been done and published a long time ago.

Gotta love how those 5POA figures move even worse than the Lego ones

I love the first one, too. I think a lot of folks resent the original Blair Witch for the flood of bad found footage films it spawned, but that doesn’t take away from how good it is on its own.

Part of the reason I haven’t switched (besides old habits dying hard) is that the digital price on most stuff is the same as the print version.

In fact, physical trades on Amazon can often be cheaper.
