Once again you make assumptions. I make charitable donations to a number of recipients, including my local food pantry and my church which has programs for the poor. I also donate my time at fund raising activities for these organizations. I also will repeat that I don't have an issue with some of my tax dollars

Fraud is fraud. The post wasn't about bank fraud or I would have gladly made my thoughts known on the subject. I don't know how you turn my comments about not wanting my tax dollars lost to fraudulent welfare recipients into sounding like I don't want to help those in need.

No, I am not a "callous bastard". I have seen the fraud first hand. I had a guy working for me that was living with his girlfriend who was in subsidized housing. She was paying $35 a month rent for her and her children, but didn't report that he was living with her. He then married her and bragged that she didn't

I have been through this twice in the manufacturing industry as a production supervisor. When I learned of the sale of our company to a larger one, I began preparing my resume. A month later when they told us they were closing down our facility at the end of the calendar year (7 months away) I began my job search in

In 2008 I was offered a job that allowed me to move back to my home state of Illinois from Ohio. I had taken vacation time to travel to Illinois to accept the new position, and verbally gave my notice by phone followed up with an e-mail that had the required letter of resignation attached. I had been told by Human
