Man I love this movie. Matthew Broderick plays just the most two faced scheming piece of shit on the planet. And the stakes are so low! He’s trying to get revenge on a high schooler and plow his friend’s wife. We’re only sympathetic to him since he’s so pathetic.

I can’t believe we haven’t yet gotten an SNL sketch about how the books feature multiple scenes of boys sneaking into a girls’ bathroom to take a shape-changing potion.

Another question: we know that Nasubi’s antics were broadcast during his isolation, but does the fact that he never did indicate betrayal on Tsuchiya’s part—or is it just good television?”

All right, Chalamet... you’re up.

Turns out doing a biopic of someone who is still alive and wants to be out of the spotlight is distaaa-stefulllllllll, buddd-dy.

One point that doesn’t seem to be stressed nearly enough in this rundown is that only Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 are relatively easy to play. Anything earlier than that is so unbelievably clunky that the sheer frustration will easily overshadow whatever merits the earlier games might otherwise have.

I don’t want to tell you that you’re definitively wrong about this, but 14-year-old me could not disagree with you more about the value Heather Graham brings to the film.

Article picture made me think she was up for the part of Dirk Diggler. I was about to get upset that I didn’t get to see her take on the role.

EnciNO, man!

This guy is legit scary. He’s like that guy you accepted as a facebook friend because you have a mutual friend but then one day he goes apeshit in your DMs and you have to block him and hope he doesn’t find your address.

I would not watch a movie where Pauly Shore plays Richard Simmons, but I would watch a movie where Richard Simmons makes Pauly Shore cry.

Turned out for the best. I think Ever After is pretty underrated and she does a great job in it, and Heather Graham kills it as Rollergirl.

LOVE ‘To Die For’

I created an account here just to tell you I love you for this comment. I’m a lifelong independent that calls a cult a cult and an asshole an asshole, regardless of which team they play for. On that note, Elon/Trump does both in spades. Go sane Americans!

Fortunately Elon Musk isn’t Tesla’s founder anyway.

Everyone is smilgy? = cult!

Yeah, the Fallout universe is a lot like the old tabletop “Gamma World” RPG from the 1970s/1980s —giant mutant creatures, mutations that give you powers rather than cancer, etc. Not very realistic, but a bit more fun than playing a hypothetical Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” RPG.

Just as a heads up I'm only episode 6 and I will jump threw my computer screen to punch you in the face if you spoil the season finale on a thread for episode 6

J. Michael Straczynski has written quite a bit about his time in a cult, and one thing he keeps coming back to is that they never start with the really crazy-sounding stuff. Instead they give you something just a bit out of your comfort zone at most, and then once you’ve accepted that, it becomes easier to accept

It occurs to me that Cooper Howard is much like Jonathan E. from Rollerball. Corporate types underestimate him as a dumb but pretty advertisement that they can manipulate. It turns out he was just uninformed, which is a correctible state.
