That... that might be the most despicable thing I’ve read in this entire election. I don’t even care if that guy was joking. He should do humanity a favor and slam his balls in a toilet seat until he kills every last sperm he has and ensures he cant make more.

I don’t get this at all, does Sony really think they are so far ahead that they can piss off a substantial subset of gamers and there won’t be a backlash?

I think McCoy’s best line ever might have been “I’d give real money if he’d shut up.”

Our local UHF TV station, Channel 29, used to run ads for Star Trek inviting you to watch the Amazing ‘Bones’ McCoy! “He’s a bricklayer!” “Dammit Jim, I’m a doctor, not a bricklayer!” “He’s an escalator!” “Dammit Jim, I’m a doctor, not an escalator!” “And he can shuttle traffic to the moon!” “What am I, a doctor or a

Picard is one of the most tortured characters in all of Trek. He lives life knowing he was responsible for the death of thousands at the hands of the Borg. He has played games for existence with Q not knowing if Q will suddenly change his mind and destroy everything on a whim. He was tortured by the Cardassians past

Especially because we know she can hold her own—I mean, come on: we ALL know Jessica Fletcher was a serial killer.

She buys groceries?! I assumed her sustenance came from turning her head 180 degrees and eating the face of her partner during copulation.

2016 sucks even more now because of your post

Real Talk: I find that io9 has become a much more bitter site over the past year. Maybe its the lack of open channel, maybe its the lack of recaps, maybe its the shift in who works there, maybe its the Gizmodo partnership, but this site has become a lot more bitter.

Actually, yeah. It took place just before that storyline, as a kind of funeral since he was presumed dead, but it was also like outside of time? With different versions of everyone showing up (like the Joker and his Jokermobile)? And Joe Chill was the bartender or something? And Alfred was actually the Joker?

The character I’m waiting to see is God.

Okay, there’s no logical reason his character shouldn’t be long dead. But honestly every time he shows up to chew the scenery he is so goddamned entertaining I understand why they keep him.

New theory: Mace Windu is Snoke

HBO actually don’t have the rights to make any more ASoIaF-based TV shows at all. GRRM sold them the rights to the novels and the novels alone. Anything else, HBO has to go back to him and pay him (a lot) more money. So it’s not impossible, but it depends if George is minded to do it or not, since he already has more

I think this is the type of show that’ll be MUCH better binge-watched; the slow pacing makes it frustrating to watch week-to-week, but when the season’s over and you can bang the whole thing out in a few sittings I think it’ll flow so much better. I just hope the network doesn’t pull the plug before we get to the

Amen. And I’m kind of laughing at some of the comments who want absolute minutia that only hyper-fanboys dig into to be considered as the show winds down. Despite the fact that D&D have shown the ability, in this season alone, to move the story along without needing to be so goddamned long-winded about it. This isn’t

Even if this story isn’t true, this man (a man who on several occasions waxed lyrical about how much he wants to bed his daughter, repeatedly expresses bigoted views about minorities, talks and acts like a neanderthal, among a host of other things) has garnered mass support from Americans. I mean completely setting

You're right in that it was predictable, but at this point it's predictable for GoT to be unpredictable. Sometimes it's nice to see the plot unfold in a predictably positive manner, as long as it's done well. And this episode definitely was done very well.
