It's not everyone that owns a modded truck that does this, it's a few idiots that wrecked it for everyone.

I'll have to backdate my post to Jan 2013 ;) My point remains the same though, a few idiots wrecked it for everyone.

So there you have it. Yes, it is illegal to modify your truck to make big, thick clouds of smoke pour out of it. No, Obama's UN shock troops will not come banging down your door to rip your stacks off. Yes, most of the enforcement actions tend to happen on the manufacturer end.

The front pic is either a gas truck or the most anemic diesel GM has put in a truck. Not sure if that makes it funny or just sad.

I realized this morning that the Ducati Multistrada that I rented has traction control. 10 years of riding carbureted bikes and I finally jump into the 21st century and it blows my mind.

But what came out of my mouth was "Okay, let me grab my helmet." (Us drivers are kinda stupid that way.)

I just get sad when I think of how great a Quad 4 would have been in a Fiero.

I assumed that it just used the microwave portion of the EM spectrum.

This is what they tried replacing the Mustang with, Road & Track has a great article on the story. The Probe is the same platform as the Mazda MX-6 which, in reality, wasn't that bad but certainly could have been better. It's just kind of... disappointing.

Of course I off-road my Land Rover, I parked in the grass lot at the Neil Diamond concert last year.

Like the annoyingly low speed limits in the Chicagoland area.

Thanks for the link to that aluminum article, that was really interesting.

I want to add to your comment by saying that this tech would probably have a greater benefit to line haul trucking than to local delivery (until the tech improves more). More of the exhaustion incidents happen in line haul than local and dock working where it's easy to give people fixed schedule.

I'M SHARPENING MY PITCHFORK!!!!

We lack the spacefaring technology to get us within 1000km of a neutron star?

Truth be told Feinberg, when I was in aircraft, I tried to convince them that they didn't need windows.

I read this entire article in a horse racing announcer voice. It was awesome.

I had a chance to talk to the engineers at Honda about the Ridgeline one time. I asked them why they made it the way they did and their answer was "We did market research and designed a vehicle for the way most people use their trucks."

That is a great way of describing him.

Have more stars please. This is definitely one of the reasons why Koenigsegg has started to grow on me as a manufacturer.
