My description of the 4 generations of aircraft from yesterday (I know it's not entirely right but it's interesting to think about):

Just the tip.

Alissa Walker is far worse about pipe dream armchair planning but she still has some decent articles on a fairly regular basis. I find that the majority of articles I read written by Ashley Feinberg are about porn, sex, or some other awkward situation/activity. In short, I have a hard time taking her seriously

Shithead, pronounced "sha-THEED" met her at a grocery store in Minnesota.

They have been using Rotax motors.

Cool looking bike. I'm sure we could go back and forth all day on bikes but I will simply say that I have a soft spot for EBR.

Legit question: do they respond to any of your stories? Technically, you're "the media" albeit Jalopnik (and sub-blogs) aren't taken as seriously as NYT.

Ah, I was hoping it was some unsubstantiated internet rumor that could be discredited.

Sounds like fun. If you ever get a chance, go to one of the rally schools. In the words of Bill Caswell "it changed my life." Seriously, you could tell in his driving how different it was.

You just reminded me of how awful that was in Wind Waker.

I'm still going to try and get one. Also, where did you find this information? I see no links in your article.

I noticed that, please see my conversation with HammerheadFistpunch.

I think you're confusing federal, state, and city taxes. Federal is paying for the tanks, state and municiple governments are getting them at greatly reduced cost because the federal government already paid for them. New equipment at a screaming deal is a big potential cost save over the maintenance and eventual

I assume it's water cooled. there's probably more info on their website. Also, if you take a look at their website, I did find out that I was wrong and the entire engine was designed and built by Mercury.

Fantastic question. I don't know. Although it does weigh approximately half as much as the new corvette so there's that.

I forgot to mention that the 1350 runs on 91 octane. But yeah, crazy. The 1650 requires (recommended by Mercury) Sunoco Supreme which is a 112 AKI leaded race fuel.

Yeah, I was looking for some more information on it and, go figure, I found it on their website. This was pretty much me while reading it.

I guess I was wrong. Apparently the did everything in house. The first paragraph says that they designed everything including the block in house.

We've all been there. I have moved on to Burt Rutan as my aircraft hero.
