The clinical studies you mention are strictly overseen by Ethics Committees, require very specific consent documents, and only provide small reimbursement amounts to cover patient expenses (ie $20 per visit for parking/transit, etc).
I’m bothered that people get free services if they allow treatment of their medical conditions to be used on social media. That’s at LEAST bordering on coercion for people who desperately want and need treatment but couldn’t otherwise afford it.

It’s more that if someone is sending you threatening direct messages, if you block them you can no longer see those messages. Thus, take screenshots of said messages and/or report them to Twitter before you block them.
