I lived in Divide during the Haymen fire 10 years ago. I learned these lessons then. When I was evacuated I was not ready, and scramble frantically to find what I wanted to get out. Luckily our house was spared.

I'm going with the Honda Fit. These are cheap to start with, and will probably drop pretty quick. My girlfriend has one and it handles beautifully. As much as I love my WRX, they are kind of a pain to work on. There is a lot going on under the hood, even simple tasks are a little more difficult to accomplish. This wouldn't be my first choice for QOTD.
