I’d argue Valorant does enough communicating through character barks and minimap info that you could play without it. It'd be interesting to see a company develop a team shooter intended to be played without comms.

Almost verbatim, yes. FFTCG has A LOT of shared Magic mechanics but basically solved mana food/screw. Hands down my favorite card game, just wish my little local community didn't fizzle and die. I miss this game so damn much.

Xrd was released in 2014, you’re thinking of Guilty Gear 2: Overture.

A takedown is what prompts them to act. It's the legal request that they make that very change. If the request had no teeth, no one would abide

They also scaled back a little between the initial reveal and the actual release, so depending on the still you're looking at it could legit be two different models.

That’s the issue with the Kickstarter-as-storefront mindset. Back things as a gift to Future You.

There is. The battle pass system that they also run gives occasional “decryptors” in its free side. They function like keys but the item you get from it cannot be traded away to other players, it’s locked to your account. They are incredibly few compared to the shear deluge of boxes you wind up with, but they are a

FWIW, the recent beta looked like it supported kb+m on PS4 and looked like it would matchmake according to input device. I only got into the beta for a few hours on the last day, so I didn't take the time to haul mine out to try it, but the options were there.

This is EXACTLY where I’m at. Put off DMC5 at launch, but now it’s on Game Pass, oh and GP is only $2 right now and that XBox One is just sitting there collecting dust anyway, right?

Probably squeezing in some OG Final Fantasy on the Vita between kids soccer games this weekend, then the regular rotation of Rocket League (new season just started) R6: Siege, and Warframe when I get back home. Looking forward to FF8 Remastered next week.

Picked Warframe back up this week. Coming up on The Second Dream, which is where people will tell you the game actually starts, so hopefully it hooks me for good this time.

Watch Out for Fireballs is covering FFV this month and it got me interested in it. Just need wrap up my latest play though of the PSP FF1 release. What version do you suggest? I was leaning towards the GBA release for the extra jobs, but the SNES fan translation is said to be a better text.

I hate to come to the defense of a company that doesn’t need or deserve defending, but the rocket pass specifically feels pretty damn generous/attainable. I've got all the responsibilities of an adult/husband/father, and I've achieved a pretty damn high level on it this season just playing at my typical pace.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about pirated copies of many board games on Amazon. Check to make sure you're buying directly from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller and you should be ok.

I’m not going to brow beat you for not boycotting Prime day, hell there's a couple things I might pick up stilll, but you took it to another level by unironically calling it a holiday. Read the room, man.

Missed opportunity to link "sterling reputation" to his recent video on them.
