Unfortunately, the checklist was also a publicly-editable document, and someone removed that step.

I stopped reading as soon as I saw Female Trouble on the list. That is the single worst, most foul movie I’ve ever been made to watch in my life, and it has absolutely zero redeeming qualities.

I like the idea of updating the icons (and other aging parts of the OS), but I’m honestly not a fan of the new aesthetic.  A lot of the new head-on icons are much harder to tell what it’s supposed to represent. The old ones may have looked out of place, but at least you knew what they were trying to depict.

I really love the concept, but just can’t get over the fact that this particular product looks so cheap. Frankly, I was shocked when I read the price.

Teleprompters don't use mirrors. They're usually clear, and just rely on the fact that they are covered on the back to increase contrast so that you can see the small amount of light able to reflect off them.

This seems to exhibit a fundamental understanding of both how teleprompters and cameras work.

Nobody’s suppressing conservative viewpoints; they’re suppressing hate speech and disinformation.  If you see those two things as synonymous, then maybe you should re-evaluate your viewpoints.

Regarding the water bottle, someone also needs to tell the designers that graduations on the outside of an opaque vessel are utterly useless.

The Doctor was giving a slideshow presentation in Voyager that brought it up. I think it’s where he was trying to teach Seven about romantic encounters.

It wasn't explored, just a passing reference, but Species 8472 was noted as having 5 genders.

4K is 4 times the data of 1080p, not twice the data.

I have one of the numerous identical copies of this. It worked just fine, but the battery finally died on it, and I was dismayed to discover that there was no way to replace it. Perhaps you could crack it open and find a way, but the device is clearly created to be a disposable item, which is disappointing. I’d

Holy cow! Gizmodo running an article on Reddit that isn't just rabid bashing? Well now I've seen everything...

Better to spend a little upfront and get rechargeables.  They’ll save you money in the long run, and you won’t have to “Subscribe & Save” to an endless stream of deliveries.

Holy crap, there are so many things wrong with this article...

360p video? What decade is this?!

I actually just bought one of the Star Wars sweaters, and I don’t think it’s ugly at all. I think it’s awesome! (Though, now I’m wishing I’d waited, since that’s a good sale...)

Why on earth would you pay $3500 for this TV when the LG’s current 65" OLED-C7 is going for $3200 (current price on Amazon, at least). That should blow this way in every respect except, perhaps, audio, but you could easily get a decent soundbar for the $300 difference, and end up with a setup that vastly exceeds this

I’m intrigued by the dial, but I’m wondering why the implementation is so limited. It reminds me of the old Griffin PowerMate (I’ve got one at home, very useful), and I hope it offers the same sort of gesture support. It shouldn’t be difficult to have the Logitech software use the input from the knob to emulate
