Orrrr.... You could have noticed that the page started to load fine, then after a few seconds switched over to Facebook—with your logged-in name on it—and produced an error. Seems pretty obvious that there was *some* sort of connection.

I wondered about this when I first saw the image, but you actually can spot where the arm connects.

It's true, while being more cost-efficient than incandescents, LEDs still trail CFLs.

It's not simply a matter of color. The Philips bulbs do have a bit of a unique design.

I'd agree it's still an issue for Christmas lights, but I hardly think that's the intended target of either this article or the research it's referring to.

I am so sick and tired of hearing people complain about the color of CFL/LED bulbs. If you're too stupid to read the package and grab the one that says "soft white" rather than "daylight"—especially when most stores have a little multi-bulb demo set up showing the differences of the various color temperatures—that's

Maybe they were using a 3DS to get a 3D image? Most people don't have anything else capable of shooting in 3D, so that's one plausible reason...

I love my FiOS internet, but I gotta admit, I really do miss my U-verse DVR. It blows FiOS out of the water. :-(

I absolutely love this lens and the wonderful photos it takes.

You might have a point there, except for the fact that if you trace the XBOX controller line back, you find that design is also ripped off.

By "innovative controller," does that mean they're just going to ripoff Nintendo, but try to make it seem edgy and cool?

Is it really Lifehacker's fault that they announced Hive Five call for best earbuds and got overwhelming nominations for IEMs? (Even if they did use them in their article's photo...)

They may have removed the code, but they still sized everything else to make most users scroll down. I've got a respectable 1920x1200 screen, and I still have to scroll down to see it. Monitors with the required resolution aren't exactly mainstream.

I'll be honest, my first thought was "This has got to be Photoshopped, right"? Seems completely ridiculous.

You're missing the original wired Intellimouse Explorer. I really liked that mouse back in the day.

I've always been a fan of naming the workgroup for a constellation, and then the devices within that workgroup for stars in the constellation.

Seems like a decent rough draft of an idea, but man does it need some work.

This might be a slightly new version, but it's virtually identical to something that was pretty widespread a few months back. If you want something a little fresher (and more entertaining), try the FBI virus. I got a surprise and a chuckle the first time I turned on a computer with that to find it activate the

Eh, yeah, depending on the article, there was a lot of BS in the comments section, but there were also some thoughtful users that made good points. I'd rather wade through 100 trolls to find 1 gem of a comment than have nothing at all.
