Don’t say that.
Don’t say that.
Cool! I wonder if they got the idea from that virus that was spreading using ultrasonic sound being broadcast to other computer’s mics.
I live in Maine, so lobster is everywhere (especially when the tourists come) and what’s interesting is how the sizes of lobsters have changed. I’ve heard so many stories about how lobsters used to be so common that you could find them on the beaches. And they were like 4 pounds easy. Now a 1 lb lobster is $15-20 and…
Here’s your chance to show what kind of patriot your are. Which of the following are you?
well, to be fair, if I'm correct, pretty much any android device out there lets you input "owner info" as a scrollable text on the lock screen so yes, iOS is lacking in that matter really.
heheheheh LOVE THIS!!! Can I steal it?!
I admit, when I lived in SF, I did wonder if I could secretly hop on one of those buses to get from Point A to Point B in SF without taking a cab, heh heh.
Great point! The Academy buses are everywhere, too. And it's worth noting that the hearings did emphasize that there are many other private bus services operating in the city, it's not just tech companies.
I realized that no one is talking about the Academy of Art buses that clog up San Francisco streets. I wonder why that is? Is it because those buses drive around hipster brats that go to hipster brat college?
I feel like there's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction taking place here, blaming tech workers and tech companies for everything that's wrong with SF. Yes, the rent is absurdly high, and this is exacerbated by the high wages that tech workers can earn, but let's not overlook the greed of landlords and real estate…
Thank you. Christ, this whole thing is ridiculous.
Perhaps those companies should just leave and set up shop someplace where they are more welcome.
The price you pay for having a massive influx of cash into your economy from the tech industry is that you have to deal with tech industry people who want to live in urban environments.
I feel like alot of people who aren't from the city have no clue what this actually means. As someone who lives here let me put this in perspective for you.
Microsoft does the same thing here in Seattle. No one seems to care up here though.
Exactly. Each of those buses takes hundreds of cars off the road, improves air quality and reduces traffic. Also - ANYONE can work for these companies! The biggest issue is that hipsters only want hipsters living in these neighborhoods.
It used to be that businesses were blamed for locating in dense San Francisco forcing people to commute long distances into the city. I guess people just like complaining.
Techbrats, really?
I'm sorry, but when did it become a private sector company's responsibility to improve public infrastructure?
I'm convinced that Leslie has the best facial expressions. Leslie, how are you not a meme yet? Yes, we're aware you're very gifable, but you deserve your own meme.
