Would it not be so much easier if the phone simply recorded the video in landscape, no matter what position the phone is? Because, I don't know, WHO would want a portrait video in 1080x1920p?

Forget family gatherings, I can't go to the bar with my friends without half of them spending every other minute with their face in their phone.

If you're a parent who wants your child to be present and engaged in face to face conversations and to participate in social interaction, don't buy them a tiny expensive computer. They really don't need one.

I just want to point out, that while this needs to spread a lot more, looking at a portrait video on a portrait oriented phone is perfectly fine. Just don't let the video touch YouTube!
