I was surprised at how quickly people port them. Usually a day or two after they are released. They have so far been pretty stable. No random reboots or crashes. It'll be hard to decide to stick with CM running 4.3 or move up to GPE 4.4. I'll be visiting XDA Developers often to see when the new port is released.

I got an HTC One running CM 10.2. I'm looking forward to the Google Edition Kit-Kat ROM next week.

Serious. I'm sure someone will find a way to port it, too.

Don't knock it until you try it. I'm willing to try one of these phones should they make it to market. The idea of being able to swap out parts and add third-party hardware to an existing phone is exciting! Plus I like Legos. Legos are fun.

I'm still waiting to see a single iPhone 5C in the wild. I work in Silicon Valley and spend a lot of time in San Francisco. I take BART daily. I have yet to see a single iPhone 5C. I have several friends and family members that purchased an iPhone 5S though, even gold/champagne ones. The iPhone 5C may be DOA.
