Last night I was looking at the Galaxy S III and noticed a big square on the back. I didn't know what it was until we started fiddling with the phone. It was a speaker. That's when it hit me - what if that weird thing in the new iPhone is just a speaker? Then I saw this article. However, the Galaxy S III's speaker is

Has Apple ever used simulated images in their commercials and launch events? Not hating on Apple, just wondering. Well, it being a launch event, I guess I can see how that's different than a TV commercial. But curious to know if they have. I'm skeptical of their front facing camera videos.

I've been hearing that a lot from my iPhone friends recently! Most of them are saying that they are going to cling to their 4S a little longer because they're not sure if they like the direction Apple is taking with this one (and plus, everyone gets iOS6 anyway). I wonder if next year's model (iPhone 5S?) will go back

My guess is dual-core A5X like the iPad, but it would be awesome if it was quad-core. 1GB RAM is a must!

This makes me happy that I'm still off contract! Seeing stuff like this makes next week's iPhone a lot less interesting. Especially since we already know what's in iOS6, what the phone is going to look like, etc. Anyone else feel like Apple has been dragging behind the competition recently? I mean, they are barely

The price we pay for 4G.

You may be right!

Kyle, any word on WHY the FBI had the info to begin with? What they may be using it for? Whether Apple handed the information to them? Now THAT is scary!

Exactly! Why is no one answering this question!? Did Apple give the FBI this information? What's the purpose of them having this information?

My bad. I knew that name seemed too short.

Do you think Apple's patent of the rectangular screen on phones and tablets should be invalidated due to the generic nature of the patent?

In your opinion, would it make sense to invalidate Apple's generic patent of a rectangular screen on a phone or tablet?

I'm not surprised. People were really mad last year when they called it the 4S instead of the 5 so people are demanding that they call it the 5. For iPhone users, the number is very important, I guess. For those who complained I told them it could be worse. It would have been named the "Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch".

The Galaxy Nexus was close, but not close enough. I hope they pull it off.

In the House of Next Tuesday...

For a second there I thought George Washington was fighting Balrog/M. Bison.

At $249.00, HELL YEA! But that's assuming that the hardware is there to draw me away from the Nexus 7. If it's not as good, then it's not that good of a deal. Is $249.00 for the 16gb (God forbid, 8gb) version? Does it have a retina screen? Does it have a rear facing camera (NOT for photos, but for apps that may need

Every morning I get up early and walk one mile to the BART station (Bay Area Rapid Transit train in California). From there I go two stops over to the next station where I exit the train station to board a bus to work. After 45 minutes I arrive at work at the other side of the bay. Repeat for the return trip home.

LOL, awesome! This needs to be the next great internet meme. I think her head needs to be a little bigger. Is it me or does she intentionally make her head really big in her photoshopped photos? Like saying, "THIS IS ME IN THE PHOTO! ME! SEE!? ME!" Keep em' coming!

Heh heh, it was just hilarious that there was some humor about something similar one week earlier. I think it's an awesome idea and it solves an issue with point and shoots that wasn't addressed before. Cell phone cameras are good, but not great, but have some great apps, so I hope this works well. I rather take
