I believe there was a video of gm's process for making the cast LS blocks. If I remember correctly they had a 3d printer that would make the sand forms.
It's a shame that vanquish you posted was taken through so many automatic car washes. Also whoever detailed that thing was terrible, so many swirl marks on the side.

Oh the design direction was most definitely controlled by marketing and not engineering, which is why it is such a packaging nightmare. It is definitely form over function.
Never said it was a practical concept, just thought it would be cool to combine the looks of the fisker with a more fitting drivetrain. Being a fabricator and an engineer I know I could perform the work necessary for the engine retrofit.
I'm going to play the broken record here again. Still think they would be a hell of a lot better with a BMW s85 V10 or AMG N/A V12.
