You know what's REALLY hilarious about people who get all up in arms about using "X" instead of "Christ"? The "X" dates back to the times of the early Christians, who used a variety of secret symbols (to try to avoid being identified and thrown to the lions, which didn't always work out so well) including Xs to

Guys, keep up, I've been doing this for years.

I just want to see how ridiculous Fox News will get with this War on XMas (it's XMas, not Christmas). Their anger is sooo delicious....

What a coincidence. My boobs are named Sapphire and Odalisque too.

True, though Cinderella was also impoverished for most of her movie.

D: He's rich!

What? This is the way that I learned that going to Hell was cool. Bosch, Goya, Bouguereau, and others painted hellscapes. Hell inspired beautiful, if disturbing, works of art. Are you telling me it's a place to be avoided?

Probably a bit of both but I'd say more racist on Disney's part. Little kids don't tend to care about that kind of stuff unless they live with parents that teach them to.

Whatever we do, let's not talk about twenty kids shot dead. Oh what, that's ancient history?

dude you cant just keep talking about mattisse and make a bad thing okay

Yep. Walk in any Disney Store ever and they always, always, always have a ton of Cinderella/Aurora/Snow White toys. But the rest of the princesses are on rotation, you sometimes can't find a single item with your favourite princess.

Well, I wonder whether this is more because racist fans don't want to buy merchandise for brown princesses, or because racist Disney doesn't put any resources behind creating and promoting films featuring female leads who aren't white.

I could be wrong but wouldn't all sales be skewed in favor of non-POC princesses for the same reason sales of comics skew towards male characters: the companies produce less product. There have been several articles and blog posts in recent years about how hard it is to find the same merchandise with Tiana or Jasmine

I'm surprised to see Cinderella so popular. Even as a kid I thought she was kind of boring.

So, as an old (30), I definitely remember the relationship drama of college. VIVIDLY. It's very possible that you're giving off don't-tell-me-about-your-boyfriends vibes, but it's also possible that your friends are trying too hard to spare your feelings because they are uncomfortable about the fact that you're the

Meh,maybe this way people will actually notice the abuse.

"People. It's time to reassess whether or not you really want to go and see the Fifty Shades of Grey movie."

Welp, now I won't be watching this movie.
