@kimbertly1: It's that bit at the end with the little girl that makes it poetry.
@Rare Affinity: I don't know about other establishments, but we weren't allowed to pocket the cash in lieu of the drink. And I was usually in need of it by then anyway :)
@Rare Affinity: I had to adjust to the no tipping during my short stint bartending in a London pub, but I did love the practice of " ... and one for yourself". Don't mind if I do!
@Macloserboy: Not at all! So much love for that show. I'm squeeing more than a little. Picture it! Port Norfolk Elementary. Me and my best friend Jenny playing Electra Woman and Dyna Girl EVERY DAY on the playground.
@midwesternmom: Oh Designing Women, what didn't you teach us? My all time favorite is Julia's sensitive approach to mental illness.
@AJ: Wish granted! Season 1 comes out May 26.
@tracylynn: Heh. I've always been loyal to the CBS stories, except for the summer Marlena was possessed by the devil. Best. Storyline. Ever.
@lautaylo: According to Wikipedia they gave him a lame off-screen death in 2004. The actor who originated the role, Michael Zaslow, passed away in 1998. I remember the furor when he was written off the show, supposedly fired because he was suffering ALS.
@Queen_of_Bitternia: GAH! Embed FAIL!!
@Alara: Why yes I do. I used to watch with my Mom and Grandmother back in the day too.
@Lyesmith: Bless you. Every day is better with a little Dean in it. Just what I needed to make it to 5.
