Considering the 3DS came out in early 2011, I figure this is the next portable system. Also, he said they'll be talking about it in 2016. Probably won't release that year.

That's a pretty clever way to get more clicks.
But seriously those posts were getting pretty huge.

Also their trade ins are competitive. I got more for The Order than I would've if I traded it in to Amazon, which is my usual go-to. Especially during a promotion. Sadly I missed it, but had I traded in The Order during a 30% extra promotion I would've gotten $42 for it. Considering I paid $50 for it (after tax)…
I got it last year during their holiday sale for $30 and it's pretty awesome. The person activating it was kinda clueless but once it was set up it was very easy to utilize. For $30 it's a crazy good deal.
Serious question: what IS Valve's presence at GDC like this year? I thought for sure they were at least showing off the "Vive" VR headset that was revealed over the weekend or is just HTC doing that?

I think Dan Harmon said it best in one of his podcasts from a few years back (I'm paraphrasing), "Leonard Nimoy's Spock gave a lot of us an example of using logic above all else. Dave [ a highschool friend of Dan's] didn't give a fuck that he was using a women's briefcase because it wasn't logical to use a man's." In…
Halo:CE campaign still holds up, gameplay and story wise. 2+3 are just sorta there (although the remastering of 2 is impressive). Halo 4 has an interesting plot thread with Cortana and much refined gameplay.
I backed it on kickstarter and was very disappointed. I liked the idea, but when it isn't boring, it's frustrating. I couldn't even force myself to finish the first episode. I played on an iPad 4 (last Retina model before the Air was introduced).
YES! No kidding, I was just thinking this morning that I'd love to get WiiU versions of the DKC trilogy. I love the series, but they would certainly benefit from save-states since there are plenty of late-level frustrating moments.
Totally worth the small upgrade ($1.50 each, I think) price to buy them again.
I remember a friend of mine came over shortly after Titanfall came out. He was very skeptical, and is naturally a very cynical PC gamer, but during his first round playing it he actually said, and I quote, "OK, this is worth using Origin."
Yup.
I'm not sure how many people are still playing Titanfall, but for $6, it's definitely worth checking out. [Titanfall (Origin), $6]
Pretty much. I always have so many $25 gift cards on hand, but you don't have to just use them on $60 games. I've got brand new 3DS games or $40 WiiU games for $15. Or a year of PS Plus for half price.
It's true that they never have discounts, but these promotions make it worth it. I've even gotten multiple $25…
I used to think similarly but the fact that it's a flat $25 and not a % discount is very nice. I got Captain Toad and Majoras Mask 3D for $15 each, and the later came with another $25 gift card. That's pretty nuts. Also, I got a year of PS Plus for $25. Like I said, I now only get games I know I'm going to keep. …
Preorder Battlefield Hardline + $25 Gift Card ($60) | Dell
I'm not that excited for this game since I haven't enjoyed an FF game since IX, but I gotta say that the graphics are incredible. Everytime I see them I get more impressed. The night section was new to me and really highlighted the lighting and shadows.
Can't edit my last comment. According to another kotaku-ite, it worked before when they preordered Witcher 3, so I guess I was wrong.
$50 Sony Playstation Network Card ($40) | eBay | Buy 2 and spend them by the 24th to get an additional $15 back from Sony
I'm not 100% sure but I believe this question came up the last time Sony had a "Spend X on PSN and get back credit" promotion and the answer was "no".
