There’s a right way and a wrong way to do inclusivity.

Yah, if you can splurge on bullshit with your stimulus check, then you prolly have enough money to splurge on bullshit even if you don’t get it.

It’s very frustrating to read about this sort of thing, because on the one hand, you always want to see quality studios and games thrive. On the other hand, is it really thriving if a fair amount of their workforce sounds constantly miserable? Being in a work environment where peer pressure is the reason you don’t…
what people doesn’t seem to get is that the E3 is not (in theory) a fan event, but an important enviroment for devs to shop their ideas around and do business. My girlfriend is a friend of some of the Mulaka guys, and she says the E3 was what got them a publisher.
Sir, this is an Arby’s.
Almost all of its already come out. The tflop rating is new, but it can be a bad way to gauge performance in gaming. VRS is a part of DX12 but previous AMD GPUs haven’t supported it. DX Raytracing is likewise part of DX12 and something you can run on any GPU.
I got one of the series 1 and while it has a lot of features, by far the most important is the back button paddles. However, it’s really uncomfortable to hold the controller with all four paddles, so I only use the two upper ones attached. Also, changing the paddles configuration is annoying, having to go into the…

Ah, I forgot Game Pass had PC too. My bad.
Oh sorry, I was referring to Games Pass. The Xbox Games Pass library on PC and Xbox are not identical.
Hot dang, Game Pass continues to amaze. Although I do wish there was more consistency between the Xbox and PC offerings, there’s a surprising amount of third party games you’d expect on PC that aren’t there and vice-versa. But I guess it also makes it more beneficial to subscribe to both PC and Xbox?
“Microsoft, has been more upfront about its platform-agnostic strategy, with Xbox boss Phil Spencer talking frequently about wanting to get their games in as many hands as possible. For the past couple of years, Microsoft has released all of its Xbox games on PC as well. Will Sony follow suit with its own slate of…
I came here to mention the South Park RPGs. Even as somehow that finds the show’s humor very hit or miss, the two recent videogames are genuinely funny, and almost all of the humor/plot is self-contained in the given game. There’s one really funny reveal that hits extra hard if you know some not-obtuse controversy…
Where do games like the South Park RPGs fit into this? I haven’t played them (yet) but I’ve heard they’re both good games that are also funny.
Or... and hear me out here... this kind of giving should be built into our tax system in an equitable way and properly apportioned to social services so that nobody has to suffer through living on the most impoverished budgets.
I have my PC hooked up to my LG OLED 65e7p. That’s the model from a few years ago and is fantastic for games. I can’t imagine how good it would be on a C9.
I just got a 20ft HDMI cable. Best part is my PC is in another room so I can shut the door and not even hear the fans while gaming.
The easiest way for me to describe it to others is:
this eliminates screen-tearing, which is bad.
Many console games don’t have screen-tearing because of V-Sync, however, V-Sync adds input lag. You can turn on V-Sync on any PC from the past decade or so.
Variable Refresh Rate (aka Free-Sync or the proprietary G-Sync) is…
