This. The Vita is my main indie platform because you've got all the controls you'll probably need and it's very pick up n' play. Sure, there were a handful of great exclusives that I enjoyed like Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway, but most of them could've been console games. Although Tearaway actually utilized all

Yeah, the HD generation has certainly spoiled me. The graphics are not a deal-breaker at all, but I'm frequently wishing for some updated resolutions.

The hint system can be a little aggravating too. Sometimes it pops up before I feel like I have a chance to explore or try out my new equipment/moves, but other times

Yeah, even with basic audio it's pretty noticeable. The closer you get to an item (hidden or not, try walking towards a new weapon after you beat a boss) the louder the hum is. I remember turning off the music when trying to collect everything to better hear the telltale signs of a secret item location.

This. Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time are fine games but they're quite different experiences compared to their 2D predecessors. Metroid Prime truly feels almost exactly how I always imagined a 3D Metroid would feel. The transition is perfect.

Stephen: Hunters was horrible. It's barely a Metroid game.

Can't wait for this game. I love the art style - it reminds me of the clay models used for the characters / enemies in the Earthbound traveler's guide

No, I only played the alpha, and that was on Xbox One but I'm getting the PS4 disc.

What? But it looked so amazing and original and not a waste of resources!

I get the feeling that the game will fix itself in due time because a lack of traffic due to everyone just giving up means they'll be able to handle the bandwidth of a few dozen players.

Seriously, I still can't get into a round of Halo 4 multiplayer in MCC, even though they released a playlist just for that.

Can't edit my post, have to reply. Looks like their list of retailers does not include Newegg or Dell, so that probably means if you don't preorder from their list you don't get the "pre-purchase" benefits, which are some pretty substantial benefits. If that's the case, my jimmies are officially rustled, because

Same. I fucking love Titanfall, but I play it roughly once a month. Each time I have a blast though. I figure the same thing will happen with Evolve. Although Titanfall became a whole new game once I had a close friend to play with. Hopefully good friends will breathe new life into Evolve if I don't feel it at

Pre-purchase the $60 game for access to 12 hunters and three monsters—all unlocked instantly instead of through play—and, later in the spring, the fourth Behemoth monster and a Goliath skin. Total of 12 hunters, four monsters and one extra skin.

Ignoring the golden rule, it's just not wise to piss off people preparing your food behind your back. Why give them an excuse to do something disgusting to what you're about to put in your mouth?

For me, I don't enjoy the videogames with no victory and/or that just depress/scare you. I can be very impressed by games like Five Nights at Freddies, Don't Starve, and Lone Survivor, but they're just too stressful for me. That said, I can appreciate and enjoy games on the opposite end of the spectrum like Flower

They reprinted all the Super Mario World Nintendo Power comics back in the year 2000. They're quite lovely. I just preordered the Zelda Comic. I hope it's a decent length. The Mario comic was a lot of pages and it cost me $4 at Wal-Mart 15 years ago.

Sometimes I feel blessed to have virtually no creativity. I don't have to worry about my art, I worry about what art I can buy to stave off feeling uncomfortable.

Yeah I really wish there was a way to opt out of automatic clips. Mine tend to get buried under all the accomplishments my xbox deems are worth seeing again. If there is a way to disable that whether now or in the future, please share.

I wear glasses too. In my experience, cloth ear cups are much more comfortable than faux leather. I use Sennheiser PC360s and I can wear them for hours with virtually no discomfort. I wear normal glasses (thin bands, not giant "hipster" ones)

I actually missed the show at MAGFest but I saw many of you during the costume contest. Remember the guy in the Pyramid Head costume in the front row? That was me.

Now playing

Those guys are part of the DC Stunt Coalition. The victoria's secret wearing Little Mac was a contender in the MAGFest costume contest just last weekend (he was happy to point out the origin of his attire)
