That's so rough. I remember being blown away by his early work like Haloid or the FF vs. DoA stuff that was featured on Gametrailers, probably before Youtube was a thing. It's sad and scary to be reminded how physically frail we are, but it's touching how quickly his fans did their best to come to his aid. My

This. If the core gameplay (combat) isn't fun, engaging, etc., it's a bad game, no matter how long it takes to beat. That's my problem with Skyrim; it sucks, but there sure is a lot of it, so... it's good?

Hmmm, that's tough. My ears definitely easily fit inside completely, but I've used roomier cups. The fact that it's not gratuitous in size is one of the many reasons it's so comfortable. The earcups are foam instead of that squeaky faux leather, so even if they come in contact with your hearing aids it'll probably

If you have more to spend, the incredibly comfortable-looking HD 598s are down to $150, which is the lowest price we've ever seen outside of a brief Black Friday deal. [Sennheiser HD 598 Over-Ear Headphones, $150]

AND I said "error". Too many Freudian slips.

UPDATE 13 (1/22, 2:45pm): It's up on Fry's right now. I just tried to go through the process and it didn't work, but readers are telling me they've successfully ordered systems, so GO GO GO.

Yeah, I see what you're saying, but my guess is the effect of $20 downloadable games will probably be the same as the normalization of $15 downloadable games - a temporary one. The average gamer will probably accept it in a year or so and perhaps become more willing to wait for sales/promotions.

Thanks for sharing your opinions on Penny Arcade, ignoring its context.

Remember when people were upset with Braid being the first $15 XBLA game?
It's all about quality to me. If a game is really good, I'll pay for it. Like Titanfall, some were upset that it shouldn't be a full priced game because it's multiplayer only, but the fact is that I've had way more fun (not more time, more fun)

I was pretty excited for that game since it looked like a spiritual successor to RE4, but it's a pale shadow of RE4, regardless of the major similarities. It grew on me over time, but I don't plan to replay it. It was so ridiculous yet took itself seriously. One of the reasons RE4 is so perfect is because it is

As long as you don't mind buying refurbished, this highly-rated Yamaha soundbar is only half the price of buying it new. It's a Gold Box deal, so you'll need to grab it today. [refurb Yamaha ATS-1520BL-R Soundbar with Built-In Subwoofer and Bluetooth, $125]

Oh to be a fly on your wall...

Yeah, take it from me, someone that loves Uncharted 2 (don't get me wrong, it's far from perfect) - Uncharted 3 is horrible. To be fair, only half of Naughty Dog was working on 3, while all of it was working on 2.

Uncharted 2 really started to come apart in the third act (oh-em-gee, something fell apart again as

I assume you mean replay RE4, right? You can't have never played RE4. If so, it holds up very well. My initial playthrough of RE4 was a euphoric experience. You're almost constantly afraid of running out of ammo/health, but the game supplies a player that doesn't know what to expect and makes mistakes with JUST

Euh hahaha ha ha, er-a ha-HA-HA."

Really? I guess throwing knives do a lotta damage, huh? I think I barely ever used them.

OK, that rings a bell. Thanks.
