I thought he just liked Uncharted 2. Maybe I'm thinking of Archaotic, the other extremely opinionated Kotaku/Polygon heavy commenter. He hates everything but like Psychonauts and JRPGs.

I think one of the Kotaku staff already covered a breakdown of this level a few months ago.

Oh man, I'd love some Chaos Theory analysis. I know what you're talking about with that bank level. So much replayability.

Metro 2033: The Library
At least I think that's the name of the level with the Librarians. Seriously one of the scariest enemy encounters EVER. They're virtually invincible (you CAN kill them but it takes forever and the player probably thinks they can't be because of how they function), and can be alerted by the

Is it any superior to owning the Wii disc (no Gamepad support because you need Wiimote, I imagine)? Is it upscaled at all beyond what you get just by going into Wii mode?

Sennheiser's Audiophile headphones have terrific reviews around the web, and are only $90 from Best Buy, today only. [Sennheiser Audiophile Over-the-Ear Headphones, $90]

Wow, this sounds like Majora's Mask but only half as frustrating. I might pick this up. I played the original when it came out and I didn't really enjoy it, probably due to the time structure, but this sounds like it'll be more manageable for someone like me who easily stresses out and just gives up (fuck these side

Yeah, it's not ideal, but you can always close the 3DS in a pinch to save your battery and open it up to save when you have the chance.

Can you play Metroid Prime 1 and 2 from the trilogy with a classic controller? I know they got updated to use Wiiremote aiming but I hope there's still the option to use more standard control.

I don't even like Majora's Mask, and that made me tempted to preorder...

I am still patiently awaiting a Viewtiful Joe port on any current console/handheld.

Haha, wow. IIRC, wasn't the drop rate for mine gun ammo stupidly low? I used it so little that I forgot it existed until you mentioned it.

Oh, I either never knew this or forgot it. Now, to balance the easier aiming with the Wiimote they decided to make the enemies drop less ammo. I assume that doesn't change if you plug in a GCN controller. That might be cool - pretty much playing the GCN version with less available ammo and extra content.

Yeah, I hate to use this expression but those that complain about having to stop to aim just don't get it. That's a key part of the fantastic game design RE4 has.

I actually prefer the GCN version for controls. The Wii version made headshots way too easy - I prefer the slightly-shaking laser. Also, that laser looked so much cooler than the floating reticule.

I remember that section with Ashley made me sweat on my first playthrough, and horror games never make me sweat.

I played through ALL of RE5 in co-op with my best friend via Xbox Live. We both agreed it sucked horribly. The DLC was OK. That said, RE4 is my favorite game ever if I ignore Earthbound. Go figure.

Sorry, I refuse to watch any Game Theorists videos. I seriously cannot stand his voice and editing that makes it sound like he never takes a breath.

I don't know if I'd call it "joy." More like exploit. No one plays FNAF, they just stream it.

Hearing you say that the content is better than Skyrim is a little reassuring, but I'd almost prefer some downtime and space over non-stop activities, even if they're optional. You know, give me just a little more negative space, and work on making the side-quests that do exist actually intriguing, unique, engaging,
