@Altaholic: I'd not say that fear itself is irrational. It's your warning system that tells you "something is terribly wrong!" It only becomes irrational when it goes off for things that aren't actually threatening. Like clowns. *shudder* Er... okay, bad example.

@Graizur: Yeah, I'd have to wonder. She wouldn't be subject to irrational fear of risk-taking... but she wouldn't have rational fear either. Hmm.

    I must not fear.

@El Sabor Asiático: I assume that her amydgala was damaged by the disease late enough in her life to have experienced fear before? That's the only guess I've got.

@sloanstrife: Beat me to it. If we weren't using all of our brainmeats up there, we wouldn't have them. Brainmeats are expensive bits of bioware!

Insufflating alcohol is probably a terrible idea. A friend of mine (who is neither small nor a 'lightweight') was once made to laugh while he was drinking something stiff, and inevitably it came out his nose. He tried to make it to the bathroom (probably for water to extinguish the horrible nose-alcohol fire), but

@Mister_Roboto: Daily Fail doesn't count as 'news' though. XD

@antonchigurh: Well... close, I guess? I'm one of those wintry Canadians. :)

@antonchigurh: Well, I would've said 'lycanthrope', but that would be speciesist against all the other transformy gribblies out there. :)

@RizzRustbolt: Wait... Wedge is Mormon? I had no idea...

@improprietary: Oh, by the way, there's something you ought to know about mitochondria... <_<

@Ubik! the Rat Parade: Pretty much, and I think critters like that tend to produce natural antibiotics, 'cause they don't like bacteria spoiling their party.

@antonchigurh: Maybe they're werewolves or some other horrible transformy gribbly. :)

@antonchigurh: I get the impression that they're not precisely normal wolves. :)

@Abner Santos: I guess it's a sound like waves on a pebbly beach. It's also used for heavy rain. I'm not entirely sure if it's pronounced exactly how English speakers would pronounce 'za'; probably wouldn't be as voiced as in English, at least in this instance. :)

@DangerousDac175: Isn't that kinda like saying "I hate all live action movies" or something? XD

@8x10: It's the katakana character 'za', onomatopoeia for the sound of the waves breaking on the beach.

@andreisnotagiant: They don't explode if they get damaged by enemy fire, unlike magazines.

@GetRevenge32: Depends on your definitions, really. They can be described as shades or as luminance.
